The service I received was outstanding. My Grandfather grew up in Clitheroe and loved the town and I thought it would make a lovely gift to send him a hamper of food local to the region. I am not local to Clitheroe and so arranged everything my telephone. I received outstanding service and was extremely impresed by the customer care and quality of the food.
The taste delicatessen is situated in clitheroe in the swan courtyard , the deli offers a wide range unusual culinary treats including : single estate olives marinated in different herb combinations , a large selection of locally sourced cheeses including Singletons creamy lancs ( my favourite ). The deli also stocks lots of fair-trade products including coffee , tea , honey , biscuits , wines ect which are of a high quality . Freshly baked cakes , bread and other sweet treats are also available daily . I recommend the home made lemon cheese cake as it is to die for . The deli also offers a wide Range of freshly made light meals and treats. If you are in clitheroe or passing pop in and see for your self ! Once discovered never forgotten ! Luke Pilkington
