I have visited The Wortley Arms several times and every time I have walked away feeling delighted and impressed. The food is wonderful, rich, sumptuous and priced within a reasonable budget. The staff are friendly, appear knowledgeable and offer genuine interest and enthusiasm when asked about the menu/business. A big plus point for me is the local ingredients/suppliers that appear regularly on the menu - a move to be applauded. The Wortley Arms is one regional eatery I shall return to regularly.

A very special menu, all fresh locally sourced ingredients. The wortley wedge is the roast of the day and served on the bread of your choice, their special board includes things like Barnsley Chop, Pan Fried Duck Breask with Confit dug leg ash and serves the best fresh fish dishes around. The pub has been opened for just over 12 months and is getting better and better.
