This home of the Essex pigs is open to visitors seven days a week. At the farm shop, one can procure more than just meats and poultry; they can also pick up the harvest from Jimmy's own herb garden, and prepared foods from the deli counter and café. All their products are either home grown or sourced from local suppliers. Some of Jimmy’s specialities include dry cured bacon, ‘Salt Beef’, and a selection of Christmas meals. The 40 acres of land is also open to trekkers - on the nature trail try to spot the guinea pigs, ferrets, geeses and peacocks.

These people are wonderful ambassadors for British food. They seem to work tirelessly to promote local produce which is what this country needs. The way in which they have added value to the farm visit is superb - visitors can enjoy and learn from the animal paddocks, the nature trail, herb garden and the children's events. By doing this, they reinforce an appreciation of nature, farming and make us all feel proud about our British fare.

Wonderful bacon and sausages, fantastic joints of meat. We order online and never have a problem with prompt delivery. The taste of the products takes us back to the old days when meat was really meat. A fantastic day out for all the family and good food too.

Living in the Netherlands, I have only watched Jimmy's farm on the BBC and have enjoyed every minute of it. I love the philosophy of Jimmy and Caela have of rearing animals in a healthy environment and tremendously enjoy their belief in their work and their commitment to it. Ofcourse, this goes for the many people involved also. It all breathes an atmosphere of earthy, natural freshness, combined hyperactive creativity, chaos and, above all: courage. A wonderful example of not only how local food can be provided in a respectful way but also how a farm can bring people in a community together and offer fun and learning experiences.

Dear Jimmy and Macaela, my husband and l are both from Scotland but we live in Perth W. Australia. We never miss an episode of Jimmy's Farm and we think youre both amazing. The difficulties and worries that youve both had to endure have torn at our heart strings but youve soldiered on and have never gave up. We started up a restaurant 3 years ago and through out our hardships, Jimmys Farm has helped us to stay strong. We wish you all that you deserve and more. By the way, we're on to Jimmys Diaries now, and we laughed so much when Dolly stuck his hand into a box containing a rat. We love Dolly as well, he's been such a support and truly is a legend. All the very best and fingers crossed that you win the prize. With great respect, Moira and Kenneth xx

Well, what can i say. I live in Australia and make the effort to watch Jimmy's farm, without interuption, every week. I visited the UK at Christmas 2006 and i wish i had of known about Jimmy's farm before then and i would of loved to go and visit the farm and even worked there for a couple of weeks, just to become involved in such a great tradition of pig farming. The show is excellent viewing and we watch UKTV all of the time, far better than American garbage we get on free to air TV. Anyway i have vote for you Jimmy and Michaela, i hope to visit your farm one day soon, we cant wait, keep up the good work. P.S. would love to try your meat selection, it would taste beaut. Jase and Nath. xo

July 4th 2008 We live in Melbourne Australia and have watched the series on TV regarding the highs & lows of Jimmy, Macela and their team setting up the farm. The news letters and web page allow us to live vicariously thru their endeavours. If we ever visit England then we will be visiting the farm to see them in action. Shame there is no key ring, calender, or fridge magnet that we can buy to be a part of this fight to reintroduce rare breed animals. Australia is a bit far for home deliveries, so would only be able to participate with non-food items. regards & all the best.......Wendy & Les

Fairly regular visiters to Jimmy's Farm. Love everything, especially the shop with it's quality products. Outdoor areas are equally as interesting, well done guys. Keep living your dream Jimmy and Michala so that we can enjoy it with you. Thank you all the staff who have always been extremely nice to us at each visit. See you soon Richard, Heather & Aaron (Colchester, Essex)

I live in south west London, unfortunately too far for a farm visit, but have found their on-line service is fantastic! My husband loves the lamb, and I always order sausages, bacon and steak from Jimmy's whenever we have guests staying. What they are doing to save rare breed livestock is fantastic and highly commendable. Keep up the excellent work Jimmy and Caela!! PS/ Any chance of a veggie range of sausages from your vegetable and herb gardens?

A lot of real hard work and effort by everyone past and present has made Jimmys Farm what it is. What an amazing place from a run down old farm to what it isn now and what it could be in the future with all Jimmys inspirational ideas to help his farm keep on growing.

My family and i visited Jimmy's Farm for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed ourselves. Everyone was really friendly and i could of sat at the outdoor kitchen looking at the wonderful view of the farm for hours. I know the food is delicious as my aunt and uncle went last summer and brought us some sausages back, they were the best sausages i have ever had. I loved watching the show and seeing the passion everyone has to make the farm succeed. I'm looking forward to my roast dinner tonight as amongst the delightful food we brought back home with us we got some classic Essex Pig chipolatas, which i am sure will be delicious. Everyone at Jimmy's Farm keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to visiting again in July. Sarah, Angela and Peter Ball.

I was lucky enough to be the first person allowed to be married on the farm. We were treated like royalty throughout the whole process and were treated to Jimmy's delightful food. The farm, the staff, Jimmy and Caela are just simply a credit to there industry. My hero's for sure!!!

I live in Ipswich not far from Jimmy's Farm and on the odd week day I get off I often go up there for a coffee and to stock up with sausages!!! I have watched this place develop over the years and admire Jimmy and Caela for their staying power and achieving this dream for us all to enjoy... It is such a lovely place just to relax in... the staff are always friendly.. just to get out in the open and enjoy the farmyard atmosphere just does it all for me... just sitting having a coffee with the odd chicken pecking round your feet and a farm kitten wanting to play, the pigs just wallowing in their pig heaven... and when the coffee shop was closed once, the legend Dolly turned up and made me tea and said, "it's on the house mucca"... I love it there... if you have only been at the weekend you cannot appreciate it in the same way as when it is not crowded... it's another place during the week... and the sausages are brilliant... Thanks Jimmy and Caela.

Whilst some may grumble that Jimmy's Farm has an unfair advantage being televised to such a wide audience, one cannot deny the sheer passion and drive that is displayed by all those who work at the farm. It has given the public an opportunity to challenge the homogenised commercial viewpoint of just needing to put cheap meat on the shelves by proving that we do want quality and we do want good animal husbandry and we *are* willing to pay a little more than some "twofer" special offer on 10 Kilo of generic meat product in a faceless hypermarket.

We go there from time to time, everybody is friendly and helpful and oon Farmers Day you can buy some nice produce we also throughly enjoy the Sausage Festival that is held each year - it is a great day - not to be missed - I only think it is a shame that they now have to charge to park - as we now do not go quite as often and in the looming days ahead of doom and gloom it might be an idea if this was reviewed - but other than that it is a great place to go.

My wife and I went to Jimmy's Farm a long time after watching Jimmys Farm on TV. After a pleasant bike ride from Norfolk we pulled into the parking lot and parked our bike. The first thing we noticed were the children and adults peering over the fence towards a large rare breed Essex Pig. We found that that they loved the animals and the land just like they were depicted on TV. Everything they had done was the best for the animals, themselves and the customers. We liked it so much we took another bike ride there and were even more impressed. The shop was better. The veg garden was established. Outdoor burgers and suasages, good coffee and a markee. Small garden centre tyep shed and a pink trackter. Another great day out. Now that there is even more too see and do we will be going for another ride that way. It was so nice to see Jimmy and Kayla in the yard talking and laughing with there customers.

The selection of stalls are fab - make sure you grab a parmesan stick from the baker and some sausages, bacon and fresh eggs to make the ultimate breakfast the next morning. Jimmy runs a farm breeding rare breed pigs, this has been followed by a television series and has shown the hi's and lo's of starting a farm. I regular visit the farm and try to attend when they hold farmers markets. I think the food is fantastic and i love their philosophy of the animals having a good life and roaming free to a certain extent and being well looked after. Kimmy really researches what makes good food and is really passionate about it. He and his girlfriend have turned a derelict farm into a fantastic business providing good, local food. They support local businesses also which i feel is really important. especially in this area where supermarkets seem to be dominating the food sector.
