Starting off with what had appeared to be a 'young boys dream come true', the farm shop now consists of a butchery, fruit & veg stall and a pet supplies shop. Whether you're looking for a taste of some succulent meat, some mouth-watering fruits or a treat for your pet.... Billy's farm shop is definitely the place to go.

View all reviews (12)We have been shoping at Billys for many years now and watched it go from strength to strength,passing every day we see the animals and hens in the feilds as they should be. The result of this is excellent meat and eggs. there is always a freindly greeting with good advice on different cuts of meat,along with many a laugh on day to day topics, shoping can take a long time. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND GOOD LUCK.

Fabulous food,meat,sausages,burgers are just delicious and next time I go I will definately be stocking up the freezer. Definately worth a visit.

Last weekend a rather large group of dog-mad folk descended on Home Farm to participate in a Flyball tournament. A last minute change of venue brought lady luck to our tents and caravans as we sampled the produce from Billy's Farm Shop. Nothing was too much trouble for them, even when we asked for 24 burgers for our BBQ (despite having not pre-ordered!). All the meat tasted delicious and not a scrap was left. They even set up a marquee in the field where we were competing, selling burgers, pies etc to keep our energy levels up. I even brought some meat home and it really is delicious. I would recommend Billy's Farm Shop to all my friends and family, and am grateful I have now discovered it and will definitely be going back to stock up!! Rachel (West Riding Wizards Flyball Team)

We have had the pleasure in visiting billys farm shop for around 18 months now .There very pleasant and friendly service and excellent produce is why we keep on returning .We receive quality value for our money and the quality of the meat is superb and all free range produce at a very good price .We think this a fantastic farm shop with warm and welcoming family run buisness and long may it continue well done on your sucsess. We have been shopping at Billy's Farm Shop since the early days; when they just sold eggs and a bit of veg. and have continued to shop there to this day - following their rise in customer and product base. We spend a lot of time sourcing 'excellent' produce as we enjoy a lot of cooking at home. Yorkshire is renowned for quality food - and Billy's Farm Shop goes a long way to maintaining this. The taste of the pork, beef and lamb here is totally unique also; their new line in home-recipe sausages, cured ham's and the free-range chicken MUST be tried. The range and variety of produce here is still growing but the taste is second to none. I can highly recommend Billy's Farm Shop for this fantastic award and wish them the very BEST OF LUCK.
Hi i am Judy, i work in Billys Farm shop along with my son Billy. We are very proud to be nominated for Local Food Heroes. We take our family business very seriously and pride ourselves on Quality and commitment to best practices in our animal husbandry. We concentrate on rare breeds and we do not use Growth promotors or Antibiotics in our feed. We only use wheat , Barley, Field Beans and essential minerals. All this attention to detail allows the stock to mature more slowly, ensuring a taste thats second to none. We are very proud of Billy who at only 19 years old has developed his business over the last 5 years to what it is today. We are proud of our produce which includes, Pork, Beef, Lamb Chicken and Speciality products.We appreciate all the comments we recieve from our loyal customer base. We would like to extend our thanks to these people for their continued support.
Billys Farm shop is Very Special Indeed. All the produce is locally sourced with the Meat being reared on the Farm. Special and Rare breeds of Bullocks and Pigs reared in a very natural enviroment enhance the quality and Flavour of the meat sold in the on-farm Butchers shop. The Free range eggs are from the chickens that roam the farm and the Vegetables are locally sourced. With Speciality sausages and Burgers and fine cuts always available, Billys Farm shop is second to none. It is testiment to the foresight and hard work of Billy and his Family.
I find this the most wonderful buthcers in the area. All the meat is reared on the farm and the taste is phenomenal. I bought some Pork chops on my first visit and found them to have more flavour than any pork I had ever had. Similrlay I can recomend the brisket, chicken, sausages, gammon burgers. bluntly I have never had a bad piece of meat from the shop. There are a lot af very good buthers in the area but Billy's is extra special
