The butcher at the back of the farmshop is fantastic. From the service to the excellent quality of their meat. Their pork pies must be the best in the UK! Everything is always just how you imagined it to be. The farmshop as a whole is our favourit place to shop for fresh produce and we only buy meat from there. Nothing else compares.

Top quality meat served by properly qualified butchers. It's all traceable too; they also serve the best bacon and egg sandwich in the cafe. Well worth a visit for anyone who enjoys their food.

Fresh eggs from the hens outside, scrumptious strawberry pies and the best cheddar sausages I've ever tasted - delicious!

Excellent produce - once I bought meat from here will not buy from anywhere else. Cornich Pasties are superb. Good to shop with the kids too as have some animals , can feed the chickens and have a small swing. Just something different.

Butchers have a large variety of well presented produce. Service always with a smile. Farm shop selling fresh, frozen or tinned groceries - exotic tastes often catered for! Interesting selection of wines and beers to cater for most tastes.

I have been brought up on Hinchliffes produce all my life, in fact, i love it so much that when i'm away at uni i have to freeze my meat from there as i refuse to buy it from anywhere else! Brilliant

Hinchliffes' just gets better and better. I have lived in Netherton all my life and watched the business grow and grow, yet still remain friendly and down-to-earth. The farm shop is brilliant, with fresh fruit and veg and household staples, to gourmet produce that you just can't get anywhere else. The butchers is just marvellous, a constant hive of activity with fresh meat being prepared in front of you. The butchers themselves are so helpful and informative, nothing is too much trouble for them and they are always on hand with ideas and advice - having just got my first home and started cooking for myself and my boyfriend they were a great source of information and inspiration. I don't buy any of my meat from supermarkets, I buy it all here, as I know it's great quality and fresher than anything vacum packed. I love summer as when my family, who all live in the village, throw BBQ's, the kebabs, burgers and sausages are always from the butchers and they are just GORGEOUS!!! The queues down the length of the shop on Saturday mornings (especially at Christmas and the merest hint of BBQ weather) speak for themselves!

I love Hinchliffe's! The bacon is fantastic, they have some lovely pies for when I can't be bothered to make one myself. The staff are lovely and friendly and the cafe/restaurant is very welcoming. I have been going there for around five years now and especially pleased that one of my friends has now got a job there as restaurant manager - she hasn't given me any freebies yet though!

My first visit today. It's meat heaven, couldn't believe it, everyone smiles at you, even the customers. The produce is 5* I want to go live in Netherton, and be with all those friendly folk.

Great value for money all through the shop. Staff are really friendly and very helpful especially to people like me and mum who are both disabled.

One of (if not the) best farm produce in the North. The quality of the meat is superb and the skillful, friendly and knowledgeable staff are always on hand to help. The shop stocks lots of the "old favorites" as well as some excellent and unusual offerings you simply wouldn’t find in the big supermarkets. In the tea room side of the business you can expect great teas/coffee (and a surprisingly well thought out wine list) as well as excellent snacks and meals. A wide selection of tempting cakes/sweets round up their offering to make Sunnyside although a little of the beaten track, well worth the trip!

Great Service, always a smile! Marvellous food, family travelling from all over stock up before returning home. The Pork Pies are the best ever, the sausages are delicious and the beef is sublime! It is handy to live round the corner and walk, especially at Christmas when cars park up to half a mile away!

I only live around the corner and I feel very lucky to able to shop here whenever I wish. The pork pies are a real treat! and Christmas just would not be the same without a Hincliffes turkey - well worth the long queues!

I have been buying my meat and frozen goods from this shop for years and the quality is never less than exceptional Service is always personal and given with a smile. The summer bedding plants are great value and the team rooms are excellent

My brother introduced us to Hinchcliffes, as he lives close by & shops there regularly. We live 300 miles away and have as yet to find anywhere that sells such spanking good produce! It's well made, well presented, good solid traditional british food at sensible prices. We make special trips to stock up on their lovely pork pies, sausages (especially the pork & black pudding ones 0ooh!), steak pies, I could just go on & on! The staff are lovely, always helpful and humour my southern accent and my brother is not allowed in my house unless he has brought an offering from Hinchcliffes!!

We go to Hinchcliffe's mainly for the excellent pork pies, meat and my boyfriend loves their sausages. The shop is also great for everyday goods and also lovely condiments and sauces. We usually visit the Tearoom next door for lunch or a cake - which is worth the trip alone!

Two things, firstly it's staff are very friendly and only too happy to help. Secondly and most importantly the quality of their food is simply unbeatable. It's a throwback to times where someone knew your name and you were serve the freshest and best local food. I have shopped at "award winning" butchers across the country but I have never found anyone who can touch these guys for quality. They've got a great restaurant on the side of it now serving their own great food! The place is absolutley first class.
