White Hart Village Inn

Restaurant

Selling:

The White Hart Village Inn is soaked in history and also literary muse: part of Jane Seymour's dowry it was once owned by Henry VIII and has also been the subject of a TS Eliot poem. Things are more culinarily inclined in the present day, and seasonally changing traditional pub fare is proudly made on the premises, using ingredients from local farmers and Welsh producers. A little more formal in the evening, you'll still find faves like beer-battered cod, which you can wash down with a Wye Valley Ale.

it just feels good, the food is lovely, all of it, the place is clean, and relaxed, and you are made to feel welcome. it has fantastic fire places, with priest hideholes, full of historic atmosphere, and a great place for that special event.

A pretty pub, with a warm friendly atmosphere. The menu is imaginative and enticing, and it will not disappoint, never had a meal I didn't thoroughly enjoy, and the sunday lunch is the best I've tasted.

this is a fantastic place that makes you feel welcome the minute you walk in with real fires and beautiful surroundings that are clean and comfortable. the food is of a very high standard and the staff are always friendly and courtious, there is heart in the white hart and you are in no doubt about that as it is aplace that suits all ages and tastes. not far from all the surrounding towns or villages, and the best thing is that soon it will have a place to stay over. I love it and I know many others do as well. A free house that is family run with a great sense of pride that makes sure that the best is given at all times.
