Puddledub Buffalo & Auchertool Angus

Butcher Farm shop

Selling: Meats

Low in cholesterol, high in mineral content and not too fatty, Buffalo meat is healthy and unique because it has not been subjected to the intensive farming methods like other meats. Puddledub Buffalo intend to keep it that way, which is why its herds are naturally reared, grass-fed and then hung for a minimum of three weeks. Puddledub Buffalo & Auchertool Angus delights locals with their free delivery service (bringing beef, buffalo and pork orders directly to customers' doors) and ability to adapt to special requirements. Everything is fresh and clearly labelled, and they’ve even been endorsed by Glaswegian restaurateur and TV chef Nick Nairn.

We have had meat products from Steve for about two years, what a joy to taste and savour both the Angus and Buffalo meat, it just melts in your mouth. Steve's enthusiasm is amazing. Though I have the meat delivered, I also enjoy going to the farmers market once a month to see what else Steve has to offer in the way of new products. Good luck Steve and best wishes to all who help you along the road to certain success.

Had a trip around the farm and met the herd, my wife got a big sloppy kiss from one member, made her day, Steve's a great guy and we wish him all the best, his sausages and burgers are superb and fat free.

A good example of how a little bit of innovation and a lot of hard work can provide a different take on meat in Scotland. This highly motivated business is providing the farmers market clientele of Fife the chance to taste the unique buffalo meat. Brilliant.

I have been getting all my meat from Steve for over 2 years and it has been of the highest quality. Many of my friends are now also customers of Steve. His enthusiasm, helpfulness and service are second to none. Highly recommended

I had the immense pleasure of getting buffalo sirloins and mozzarella from here, and it was the most amazing thing I have ever eaten. Pure food heaven. The sympathetic way the animals are treated make all the difference, and it shows in the produce.

Phone them or email them with an order - Tom called me back and discussed my order to make sure I got exactly what I needed, then went out of his way to make sure that I got it, even though I'm out of their delivery area. Everything has been impressive.

Amazing produce with an innovative owner who works very hard to push forward his ideas. The Guinness sausages and stroganoff burgers are to die for!

This family make tremendous natural farm reared meats! One son, Stevie only in his 20's, has started to raise, butcher and produce foods from his very own herd of water buffalo, housed right on his very farm. Striving to give local people a taste of his amazing beasts, he has many farmers markets stalls and he is always a delight to see donning his checked apron with his perfectly styled hair to toss a few buffalo burgers at the agricultural shows around Scotland. Keep up the fantastic work! Stevie and Family... Your hard work is the masterpiece that feeds Scotland's families! x x x x

The enthusiasm for the product, as well as the superb quality of the buffalo meat make this the first place I visit at the farmers market. The care that they take, along with the sense of pride in doing a great job locally, all make them stand out in our book.

The bacon and sausages are great, but the pork loin makes a lovely Sunday roast.

The bacon is the best I've tasted and the Auchtertool original sausages aren't half bad either. Their stall is always my first stop at the local farmers market!
