Debbie made both my wedding cake and my mum's 60th birthday cake and both were fantastic! (The Jimmy Choo shoes on my mum's cake were definitely a talking point!!) She was able to create amazing cakes from a basic description that tasted gorgeous. Thanks Debbie, I will certainly be back for more cakes.

I used Debbie's Sweet Art services for my daughter's Christening in April this year. With so much to organise was a huge relief to have such professional service. The cake looked and tasted fantastic. Our guests commented on the beautiful art work and everyone said it tasted wonderful. Thank you for contributing towards Alexa's special day. I will be in contact soon so that you can provide us with a special wedding cake!! Thank you so much. Ana, Paul & Alexa

No matter how intricate or unusual, give Debbie a specific brief and she will deliver. Ideas often start out as dreams, pie in the sky optimism, a fantasy if you like, something that you secretly never believe will truly mirror that perfect and private initial concept. Debbie is far from the norm. She cleverly interprets often sketchy and changeable requirements and somehow seamlessly transfers hope to an undiluted form of reality. A warm, courteous and inviting husband and wife duo that genuinely want to play more than a bit a part in the happy memories of celebrations gone by. We wanted a contemporary, modern, simple yet sophisticated (contradiction in terms to some - now you can truly appreciate Debbie's ability in translating ones needs!!) and above all a unique cake to celebrate our wedding back in May 2005. Then in honour of our daughters recent Christening we wanted a simple, fun, yet impressive (You can see a pattern emerging here!!) cake. However our transparently obvious need for a complex and mixed specification only serves to support that Debbie has a natural ability to identify with her clients! The attention to detail and dedication that is exhibited in the finished article is there for all to see. Honest, reliable, friendly, sincere and above all decent folk that are intent on making a difference. Debbie is quite simply an artist. Thus her work in our book is priceless. The cake that Debbie"s Sweet Art made for our wedding was spectacular. They were asked to make orchids cascade down the cake - they look so good that many people thought they were real! The cake was delivered on time in perfect condition at the venue for the wedding. I have nothing but praise for the Debbie - she is the BEST. Roger and Marion

Debbie & Jim made our wedding cake, and it was stunning, everyone thought it was quirky and suited our wedding perfectly. They had no problems with me adjusting their orginal design to suit us, and it tasted fantastic as well. If we have another occasion we would definately use their services again as they were very helpful and professional. Thanks again. Tracy & Jay Payne

I have ordered many cakes from Debbie over the past 6 years and they have always exceeded my expectations. I only ever give a very rough brief as to what i want and leave the rest up to her as her designs are simply superb. The cake tastes great too!

A lovely family business which makes fantastic cakes. They taste utterly delicious (we went for a dark choc cake with white choc cigarellos) and look fabulous. Good value too.

Debbie's made a wonderful cake for my husband's 50th birthday, successfully replicating a poster advertising Fullers London Pride. It looked and tasted fantastic and he was thrilled. I'm very happy to recommend them.

I found debbie via google when searching for a cake specialist in Surrey. I was looking for a cake for my son's christening, which was to form the centrepiece for the reception. I had some very specific requirements as the cake needed to match the theme of the event. All communications for the cake were done via the phone, using cakes on the website for reference to describe the specific details i wanted and detail is exactly what i got - the cake was perfect and every detail i had asked for was delivered. The cake was therefore not only perfect in terms of its professional flawless apperance but it was personal to us and our guests appreciated this. We had such good feedback and i was genuinely upset when we had to cut it! The most wonderful bonus however was that a cake that looked so amazing also tasted so good!!! I never got around to writting Debbie a thank you, card although i often thought about it (i have a one year old - that's my excuse!) so i hope this review can be testiment to my gratitude to Debbie for providing the perfect cake for such an important occassion - THANK YOU!!! Debbie has made cakes for both my son's and daughter's christenings. Both times the cakes were stunning to look at and tasted delicious. All of our guests commented favourably on how much work and effort had gone into making such beautiful cakes. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending their products. Amy Powell

A very efficient and friendly service. I contacted Debbie's Sweet Art at short notice to make Moth Orchids for my wedding cake (having rejected several London makers, they just didn't have the 'flair' that Debbie's Sweet Art seems to have). They were perfect and ready long before the deadline, very very pleased KDH1

Having got married abroad in Augut 2007, weted a centrepiece for our party when we came home. When we looked at Debbie's catalogue, we fell in love with a beautiful cake, that was all individual cup cakes, presented fabulously over three tiers. It was amazing. Looking for a Christening cake now, so we'll definitely be getting in touch with Debbie and Jim again!

Debbie made our wedding cake for 31st May 2008. It was absolutely stunning and the lemon sponge inside tasted as good as the outside looked. Everyone commented on how fabulous it was and it was a real focal point for our reception. Debbie was very helpful even though we did all our communicating by email. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone who wants a really special cake at a very reasonable price. Debbie - Thank you so much. Karen and Steve Dennis, Dorking, Surrey

I ordered my daughter's christening cake from Debbie and the cake was exquisite. Everyone commented on what a gorgeous cake it was in both look and taste (recommend the vanilla sponge!) and I certainly will be getting all my special cakes from here in the future. Debbie was very flexible when it came to the design and was excellent value for money.

I wanted to take my wedding cupcake tower to Gibraltar for my wedding at the time when handluggage was limited. Debbie went over and above the normal call of duty to make sure they all fit ready to take through customs & explained how to put it all together in great detail. It looked amazing & tasted fantastic.

Debbie offers a personal service. I live 200 miles away, but Debbie arranged a tasting by post and her and her husband helped me arrange collection of my wedding cake and stand. The cake was a talking point for months after my wedding in June 2006 both for aesethic appeal and for being probably the most delicious chocolate cake I or my guests have tasted. The distance would not stop me ordering from her again for a special occasion and I will continue to recommend her to anyone that may listen. Good Luck.

Debbie made my wedding cake 30th June, 2007. We met her a few times and I found the service very personal and she even matched the cake to the beading and detail on my wedding dress! And spent a lot of her time discussing it. Everyone loved the cake and we were able to have 4 tiers of all different cake. It was presented outstandingly and was exactly what I wanted at my wedding. The fruit cake was especially nice!! Thank you Debbie. Angelene & Danny Sitton

Debbie made both my now wife's birthday cake, a VW beetle shaped carrot cake which looked and tasted gorgeous,a shame to cut into it and then our wedding which was in the shape of a heart. Debbie took plenty of time working with us to find out just what we wanted and helping with the design and both cakes were admired by all who came to celebrate with us. Anyone who needs a special cake should seek Debbies know how.

Debbie was more then able to ensure that all the dietry requirements of the guests at my daughter's birthday party were met. Nothing was too little or out of her expertise. One beautiful large cake and lots of little ones for the children with differing allergies. The beautifully decorated birthday cake that she designed and baked for us was admired by children and parents. I would recommend her again and again. Thank you Debbie and good luck, you deserve it.

Debbie made our wedding cake last year. My husband was keen to have an 'unusual' cake and a look through Debbie's website and a trip to her shop soon showed what a huge variety of designs she is able to produce. We chopped and changed our minds a few times and Debbie was always accommodating. The finished product was fantastic and I'm pleased to say I've never seen another cake like it!

Debbie's Sweet Art is fantastic, she made me the perfect 20th birthday cake, with four girl figures with amazing detail and lots of little bags and accessories. Everyone loved the cake, it looked great, but tasted fantastic as well! Great value for money, Debbie obviously puts in a lot of time and effort to every cake, brilliant customer service and it's a pleasure for me to vote for Debbie !

Debbie has made and decorated 3 or 4 cakes for me over the past couple of years for a variety of special occasions. I have simply described what I wanted and she has produced! The cakes have been delicious and the decoration exceptional. Great value for money and Debbie herself is so nice, and very professional indeed. I always love it when I go in to order or collect, because I can have a look at all the cakes she has made for other people as well. Some of the wedding cakes have been unbelievable - the Maltesers one sticks in my mind. Her caricatures are great too. All in all, highly recommended!

Debbie made a christening cake and also a first birthday cake for my Goddaughter. I live in South London so it was quite a trek to pick the cakes up but well worth it. Both cakes were loved by everyone and I would definitely recommend and use for any special occasion.

Debbie decorated my wedding cake last year. Despite a recent flood in the shop and a bout of ill health, she delivered the most beautiful cake I could have dreamt of, that matched my scheme perfectly, despite my own design cluelessness and indeciveness! Her stunning designs stood out amongst any I considered, there was never any doubt in my mind that she was the one I'd pick for my wedding cake and I'm so glad I did. I would recommend Debbie's Sweet Art in a flash.

Debbie's creations never disappoint! She has made amazing childrens' cakes for me, with TV characters, such as the Fimbles and Peppa Pig, despite never having seen them before producing a picture! Most memorably she created a wedding cake for me, which provided a talking point all night at my wedding reception, it was absolutely incredible and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Her chocolate cake is to die for. Her husband Jim, is also a great chap, and they are a pleasure to deal with. If you are ever in Walton on Thames, stop by and look at her ever changing window display, it really gives you insight as to her skills.

Debbie made my wedding cake in August 2006. Her designs, options and possibilities were extremely extensive and very inspirational. We were able to have a cake that we felt was individual and very personal but also went with the traditional feel that our families wanted. Sometimes the quantity of options can undermine the quality but not in this case; fruit cake was moist, rich but light and very yummy! We really enjoyed having it as part of our wedding.

I have to date ordered 5 cakes from Debbie and they have all been fantastic, from a pair of red high heel shoes on the top of an amazing chocolate birthday cake (which incidentally we only gave a weeks notice at Christmas time!), to a christening cake - each and every one have tasted fabulous as well as looking absolutely fantastic!

I appraoched Debbie in 2006 with a very unusual request. I asked her to model in cake and icing an exact replica of m Fiance's VW Beetle, "Bluebell" for her 40th Birthday Cake. The design of the cake was incredible, and the detail was so impressive, right down to the markings on the seats and the detail on the dashboard. Not only that but the chocolate cake below all the detail / icing was tremendous. Good Luck Debbie !!! .. Mike Edwards
