Hung for at least 3 weeks before being cut by a master butcher. Local meat at its best! On a diet of Devon Grass and home-grown swedes, Red Ruby Devon Beef’s Clannaborough herd include prize-winning bloodlines of the Devon breed. Hung for at least three weeks and cut by a local butcher, Red Ruby Devon Beef is traditional and tender.

Truely remarkable beef product. I have yet to experience a poor quality piece of beef from this delightful farm shop situated in the farmyard courtyard and surrounded by lush fields and neighbouring the church. We need to support local hard working farmers who are showing initiative to provide such high quality product and standard of service. Top notch!

Beef & Swedes The Beef supplied by Red Ruby Devon Beef at Clannaborough Barton is taken from Red Ruby Devons from the Pedigree Clannaborough Herd. The animals are grazed on rich & varied pastures and swedes, producing well marbled meat with good fat covering and a uniquely high level of omega-3s. The animals go to a small, local abattoir to reduce stress levels. The carcasses are hung for at least three weeks to ensure wonderful cooking and eating qualities, then cut by our master butcher.
