A wonderful selection of home-cooked food is on offer at Bridge Cottage. They use local ingredients to prepare a range of sandwiches, baked potato, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Also on offer is a variety of scones and cakes, including carrot cake, white chocolate with pistachio nuts, and hazelnut with Maya Gold. On site there is an art gallery with work from local artists.

View all reviews (4)I love this cafe. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is very small with only 5 or 6 tables which just makes it all the more homely. The food is all simple, homemade and heartwarming and other than absolutely delicious is served by the owners with the friendliest of manners and smiles. Excellent customer service that comes with ease and enjoyment.
This place is amazing! Everytime I come to visit my grandparents in poolewe (daisybank!) i drag everyone out. The homemade bread and cakes are gorgeous, as is the service and atmosphere. Definitely my favourite place to be :)
Amazing soups, wonderful sandwiches, and mouth-watering cakes all home-made by Michael and Connie who run this small, intimate and welcoming cafe. A selection of hot drinks including never-ending coffee make this a stop not to be missed. Honestly!
