I love the atmosphere here, quirky, arty with a bit of a 40s feel. The food is amazing, Aaron the head chef is awesome and so willing to discuss a menu for a special event (we held by husbands 30th birthday dinner for 20 people in the private dining room). He is passionate about local and seasonal produce (I love the scallops wrapped in pancetta and when I asked for them on the menu he simply said it wouldn't be worth it, at the time they were tiny and not quite juicy enough to warrant the price). The waiting staff are fantastic. Mick the maitre d (in the evenings) is friendly and attentive - he knows the wine list and will make a recommendation if you just can't pick. Mick (as delicious looking as several items on the menu) the owner is always friendly, asks after my daughter and husband (depending on who i'm in with, daughter or husband that is). I have been here for many reasons, my husbands 30th birthday dinner with 20 friends, sunday lunchs with family and friends, romantic dinners for 2, light lunch, weekend breakfast, and coffee and cake/pastries with the girls in the afternoon and do not have a single complaint. I love the place.
