Pauline back again!! Just to say got my suppliers mixed up. Elmesthorpe Tomatoes - Fantastic Tomatoes just like the ones I used to grow in my own greenhouse when I had time. Delicious. F.Jackson & Son's - Cucumbers - Just great- Ordered 2 this week as they have just come on to the shopping list. As for Tomlinson's they have supplied us with fantastic free range chicken's and turkey's. Great food, great service all round. Pauline and Ken of course

We have been ordering our food from Sealwood for over 2 years now. We initially chose Sealwood when we made the decision to ensure that if we were to continue to eat meat we wanted to be able to trace where it was reared, that it was from a local source and that the farmers put the animals welfare first and foremost. Andrew and Caroline's Website clearly gives you details of all their suppliers and have always offered further advice if we have had any concerns. The produce speaks for itself. It is of very high quality, well packaged and so much tastier than supermarket produce. Once you have eaten Sealwoods free range eggs and Tomlinson's tomatoes and cucumbers you will not want to buy the supermarket equivilant again, they are so much tastier. There is so much choice and it is much better than having to rely on other suppliers that decide for you what goes into your veg box or the suppliers that charge you for your delivery making your purchases more expensive. There is so much choice and it is good sometimes to take a chance and try something different knowing that it has already had Andrew and Caroline's seal of approval. Delivery is always on time and we have never been let down. Andrew and Caroline so deserve this award and more, as through Sealwood they have found a niche in the market to supply local quality produce to those customers that really care about animal welfare and their environment. Pauline & Ken.

We have been using Sealwood for over a year now. The reason we continue to shop with them is that the quality of the food is second to none. We often order the veg boxes and enjoy eating seasonal food which is locally resourced and good value for money. People often comment on the delicous taste of the meat and we certainly don't shop at supermarkets now as it just doesn't compare. Sealwood really does deserve recognition as it must take a lot of hard work to produce such a high standard of service. It has been my pleasure to comment on a well deserved nomination I am very busy but wanted to take this opportunity to say that Sealwood really does stand above any other competition and really do deserve recognition. Well done Andrew and Caroline Carol

So much more than a local veg box - you can choose your own locally grown fruit and veg plus a great range of organic store cupboard and environmentally friendly products, fanastic locally sourced meat, dairy, bread, puddings.... etc! Andrew and Caroline are so friendly and helpful. Andrew even arrived in his Landrover in the snow with my order!

We have used Sealwood for over a year now and it is a delight to find food which tastes second to none. The important factors to our family are locally resourced products,Seasonal vegetables, good value for money and most of all a good standard of food. Our guests often comment how delicious our meals are, especially the meat which has been sourced from Sealwood. We can now tell the difference between Sealwood and supermarket food. I would like to take this opportunity to wish Caroline and Andrew and all at Sealwood the best of luck with this award and thank you for such a high standard of service.

We have just moved back to a Sealwood delivery area after a 12 month break. Absence really does make the heart grow fonder, and their website is better than ever. Andrew and Caroline deserve recognition for the sheer hard work they put in and congratulations for the quality of their service enabling us to have such beautiful products delivered by the ever smiling Andrew. Try them!

I would like to recommend .www.Sealwood.com I have used this site for 2 years now and I am delighted with the service that Andrew and Caroline provide.I started by just having my vegetables delivered since I couldnt get any really fresh vegetables in the town where I live as we have a large Tesco in town and so no small vegetable shops with local produce was available. I soon moved on to having my meat from Sealwood and then fresh delicious cream and now freshly baked bread as well. It is such a pleasure to get back to eating what is in season, wonderful bunches of carrots at the moment, but what is so important is the freshness of everything we eat. I could swear there is still moisture on the stalk of the cauliflowers and rain on the leaves of the bunches of beetroot it is that fresh.

Sealwood have made it their mission to provide a convenient way of buying sparklingly fresh produce from our local area. They continually look to add new producers to their list to provide choice and a wide range of seasonal foods. They source carefully from suppliers to whom sustainability and quality are important. Their supply chain is carefully worked out so that everything reaches us rapidly after picking/butchering/baking without the need for the kind of preservation methods that kill the flavour in supermarket supplies. It's a joy to unpack the bags and boxes when they arrive and find carrots that really smell like carrots, broccoli that squeaks with freshness, little treasures like today's Fir Apple tiny potatoes, bread baked this morning, meaty pies like my Granny used to make, and even local wines, beers or fruit juices to drink with the feast. Packaging is minimal and much of it they collect for re-use. The enthusiasm and knowledge of Andrew and Caroline about the product they sell and their suppliers comes over in their website and every time I speak to them. I appreciate knowing where my familys food comes from, and feeling this connection to the suppliers. Thanks to Sealwood, my family have rediscovered the pleasures of seasonal eating and I have a warm glow from supporting the local economy and reducing our food miles!

I would like to recommend www.Sealwood.com. Caroline Royston and Andrew Gray produce salad crops and vegetables from their own farm, Sealwood. Following numerous requests from customers at farmers’ markets, the pair developed and now manage a successful home delivery service that not only supplies their products but those of over 55 local suppliers. Products include vegetables, fruit, dairy, meats, smoked fish, bread, cakes and pies, beverages, beer, wine, crafts and fairtrade items, from within a 30 mile radius.. This means that small local producers have a regular market for their produce. There is a mixture of organic and non-organic suppliers. The service operates via internet shopping which is then delivered on a regular day each week. The food is amazing. Everything is fresh, seasonal and is incredibly tasty - some of the best food I have ever eaten. This is made all the better by knowing about the low food miles and the supporting of local businesses. We have been ordering for 8 months and cannot imagine buying fresh food from anywhere else. Andrew and Caroline have never let us down and have only exceeded our expectations. A delivery even happened with 4 inches of snow on the road with an apology for being 3 hours late! They provide unusual items when asked for. I have never met such a dedicated team with a drive for great food and amazing service and one I can wholehearted recommend.

A local food delivery service with online or telephone ordering. All produce is sourced as locally as possible with the vast majority being within 30 miles. All produce is traceable so you know which farmer or producer you are buying from and each producer has their own mini information page on the site which tells you about their farming and production methods. Produce is picked or prepared to order - no hanging around on the shelves so you know it is as fresh as possible.
