I only get the chance to go to the captain stan once a year when i visit bembridge but always bring back enough for the freezer. they are an absolute joy and the pleasure of not fully know what they might have in that day is definitely part of the fun. we couldn't live without large tubs of bembridge prawns and my husband (not a great fish eater) loves their mackeral. I always leave with a couple (or 4, or 5!) or their freshly cooked crabs of which I am eating as I write...roll on next year!

Mike and Ruth offer the freshest possible fish to the public, their passion for seafood is reflected in the service they offer. Mike supplies my restaurant for 52 weeks of the year and there fish is second to none. If you are in the area give the Stan a visit and treat yourself to Bembridge lobster or a bass from the ledge you wont eat better. Mark, The St Helens.
