It gives a great variety of good local produce which I would not otherwise find under one roof. It gives a chance to try unusual foods - e.g Romanesque, goat, bison. It also has some cuts of meat which I have not seen since a child e.g delicious hand and spring of pork. All high quality and competitively priced - better deals than supermarkets. The staff are helpful and obliging and a visit is a pleasure rather than the usual shopping chore.
Pigs reared on site, own food sold in shop along with other farm products. Coffee shop/cafe using the products. Even a small garden centre. Brilliant staff - very helpful and cheerful. All meat sourced locally. You can picnic on site too. The children love to see the piglets in the Spring.
