Raydale Preserves

Basic info

Based on a farm that has been in the family since the 1940s, Raydale Preserves make jams, chutneys, jellies and curds using traditional methods and recipes. Set up in the 1990's to fund conservation work on the farm, all the preserves are all made with local fruits and are made in low quantities. Visitors are invited in to the tasting room to see the preserves being made (when preserving) and sample the delights with a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of home baked cake. Whilst you're there, why not enjoy a stroll around the beautiful surrounding countryside of the Yorkshire Dales too. Selling: Preserves

The Tasting room open in the summer months is just fab, then you can take a Raydale Ramble to work up an appetite for the preserves you buy for Tea!

The best pickles, jams & chutneys in the whole world!. Made on the farm (you can watch), tasted in the old schoolroom next door. A great local history setup with more info than the local museum. A beautiful, tiny, hidden dale. I cannot get enough of their stuff & have to make special trips to get it. Their hard work deserves recognition
