The Ship is a family Favorite, We drive down from Largs for the wonderful staff and the best Scottish classic Pub Food. I have learnt, through experience, to call ahead so have it on speed dial on my mobile!! The Decor is classic, and in the winter the fireplaces warm the bones. Best Pub ever!!

The food, staff and atmosphere are fantastic. We only had a small wedding and, instead of a reception, we went to the Ship for lunch afterwards, I couldn't imagine anywhere that would be as friendly and good value. The menu uses fresh regional produce and, as well as traditional dishes, they always have a few specials.

you wont get better service anywhere, the ship is a first class pub and food is the best quality , its a family run pub and thats what gives it a warm relaxing feeling about it. And they make kids so welcome because unlike other pubs they acknowledge them, and the lolly is a winner on the way out,
