At the heart of the city, where some twenty years ago there was but a patch of derelict land now stands St. Werburghs City Farm and of course its celebrated farm café. At Leona Williamson’s café the menu is seasonal and the ingredients ethically selected and locally-sourced (so locally in fact, that the eggs used here come from St.Werburghs City Farm itself!) Family-friendly and relaxed, St.Werburghs City Farm Café is more than just a café- it is a place for the community to meet and eat together.

Extremely impressed by the atmosphere and to top it off the food is fantastic and the service to go with it. I tip my hat off to the chef and I already look forward to my next meal at the city farm!
This cafe specialises in local, seasonal food prepared within a very cosy, unique environment. Vegetarians are well catered for, as are the meat eaters who can enjoy delicious sausages sraight from the City Farm. Great food, wonderful staff and good music make this place a winner!
On the site of the City Farm, selling delicious, varied food depending on season and what is available locally. It's a lovely chilled out place to eat, sit and while away the time as well as find out what's happening locally and catch up with a few friends. Proper stuff!
The people always smile, there's an amazing community feel. The food is tres bon. What can you say, it's a winner on all levels and there is always funky music x

I really can't rave about the farm cafe enough. Excellent food at superb value for money, child friendly (city farm and playground right outside) as well as private function venue and outside catering available for hire. Leona is wanting to provide long term benefit to the community and is always thinking up new ideas to this end. I only hope that her team can win this award because they more than deserve it, Marianne White, St Werburghs resident

We had our wedding reception at the farm, it was awesome. You really couldn't go to better place for proper local food, friendly service and a laid back and relaxing atmosphere. Cannot be beaten in Bristol.
What I really like about the Farm Cafe is the little touches, the kids plates and cups have cows and sheep on them, the sausages are local, and a lot of the food is bought at the local farmers market. It's good value too.

It's lovely to come across a place where you can find the staff feeding the very same animals that will be on the menu. It's lovely to find a place where food can be altered to your requirement, and is always cooked fresh to order. It's lovely to find a place where quality is as important as aesthetic, and ethics are all. It's lovely to find a place where you are offered something you haven't had before. It's lovely to find a place that has traditional English dishes for less than a fiver. It's lovely to find this place. It's lovely.

It's a special building in a secret inner city green spot. The food is great and the staff lovely. You could be in the middle of a country village. Wonderful.
as a parent with two kids and three hours to fill of an afternoon this has to be the easiest and pleasantest place to do it. More of the same please.
Local, fair trade and organic produce are ALWAYS available. Combine those ingredients with the excellent cooking skills and culinary imagination of the chefs. Add the friendly, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.You have the recipe for the fabulous, exciting and completely unique St. Werburghs City Farm Cafe. Thank you all for many a tasty treat. A really unique place. A beautiful building, amazing food (sourced locally and organic) and super friendly and helpful staff, all set in the heart of the 'green oasis' of St Werburghs.
This place is the best! I used to come here before I had a child to chill out and enjoy the friendly atmosphere and excellent food. Now I have a toddler and I can still come with my little one in tow. The staff are so friendly and welcoming to children. Leona who runs the place has lots of great ideas to make children more aware of the importance of good food, like starting a kids cookery school. She also organises monthly fundraising evenings for charities, where food from the regions of the world where the charity is based is cooked. The food is good quality as well as affordable. This place is a true community venture.
My main hobby in life is being a cafe slut and this is quite simply the best cafe to be in! Their coffee is excellent, the food is gorgeous and the prices fantastic. I'm a vegan and there is simply nowhere else that provides me with such a choice - including knocking up something to suit your diet from what they have in stock, if they're not too busy.
