A fantastic 'old fashioned' style of top quality butchers who supply an extensive range of meat, game and poultry. Always willing to help and give advice with a smile on their face. An absolute pleasure to do business with.
The service is second to none. Always supply excellent produce and always seem happy to serve you, how unusual.
Ansell & Sons supply me for running a local restaurant and never fail to provide the best quality produce with such friendly service. They truly value your custom and will go out of their way to meet my needs, usually within minutes if I happen to run out of something! Dealing with them is a truly pleasurable experience and I would never buy meat elsewhere!

A true family butchers...one of a dying breed where all the old valkues still stand...well worth a visit if you're ever in Essex.
I regularly travel from Kelvedon to Maldon for what are the best sausages I have ever had, mixed with the friendly family service in what is a world dominated by large shopping chains makes this shop priceless!!

The staff are v accomodating! i go in with special requests and needs and they always do their best. im always after some breast meat and teh lady behind the counter is always most generous. The other day i asked her to pack my sausages, and she handled them so well and quickly that i had come and gone in seconds! wonderful!
