Choose from the vast array of salad bases, toppings and mains to make up your very own salad box, styled to your individual taste. On offer are roasted vegetables, salsa, couscous, wild brown rice, lentils, falafel, chicken, tofu, mackrel, houmous, pesto, sundried tomatoes... the list goes on. Soups, sandwiches, cakes and yoghurts are also often available. Those on a gluten free or vegan diet can usually find things on the menu to suit their tastes.

oh mi life. seriously... what could be better than a toasted ciabatta for lunch from alpha bar... do i want spread....??? not conventional spread...oh no... do i want sundried tomato, or pesto ...or or or and do i want seeds sprinkled over the filling... YES PLEASE! and just as tasty too are the suggest yourself salad boxes. you guys are amazing. x
If ever there was a reason to turn vegan...this would be it! Fresh and tasty salads that actually smell wonderful. Talk about a revolution.
Oxford has no shortage of sandwich bars, but not one can match the creativity, freshness, and good value of Alpha Bar. The sandwich and salad fillings are vegetarian- and vegan-friendly and created daily from organic ingredients, as are the homemade cakes. If nothing else will convince you, stop by at lunchtime to witness the daily queue-- the longest in the Covered Market-- of devoted customers who return regularly for the toasted ciabatta with sundried tomato pesto and roasted vegetables, the goat's cheese salad with puy lentils and hummus, or the vegan cranberry and pumpkinseed flapjacks.
