This is a fantastic little gem of a pub with a difference. Not only can you relax in the country with a decent pint of beer or cider, but you can also treat yourself to some great food. Additionally, the pub also boasts a small deli section, selling local produce, much of which is from their own local farm. We live a good 30 minutes drive from the Parrot, but it's well worth the drive. We now use it as a lovely place to take our one year old grandson for some fresh air !!!
With a fantastic bouncy castle (open all year-round) and extensive children's play area, this is one of teh most 'child-friendly' pubs I have ever come across. The setting, food, service and beer (wide selection of real ales) are all good too - STRONGLY recommended for families. Final comment - it's non-smoking too :)
The couple who own this pub have been in the trade for over 25 years and they also produce there own products from their farm in Dorking, this includes the meat they serve.
