I produce handmade award winning cakes using the finest ingredients sourced through local suppliers and a local farmer. Ingredients are carefully prepared by hand and mixed in small batches to traditional family recipes and those developed myself, creating a quality homemade product with a capital 'Q' all from my own kitchen. My Apricot & Ginger Fruit Cake was a runner-up in the Small Producers Awards 2004 and also won a Bronze Medal at the Great Taste Awards. Since then I have developed a Riggwelter Rich Fruit Cake using Strong Yorkshire Ale from the Black Sheep Brewery at Masham, who like me, are also in North Yorkshire.
