View all reviews (107)I found this company at Bingley Food Fair over the Easter holidays, all I can say is WOW what a selection of teas, I bought a small caddy of Green and a small caddy of White tea, since then I have ordered of there site. If you appreciate a good cup of tea and not that rubbish we buy in tea-bags you should also shop at www.spinneykitchen.co.uk
Good choice, nice layout, nice lady go buy.
Following on from the comments of the others all I can add is Spinney Kitchen goods are the best not only in North Lincolnshire but I am sure in the country.
Great food, great choice, great display, what more can one say other than go buy from them.
I bought some of Spinney kitchen products at York Food & Craft Fair, when I got home and tried the chilli & garlic infused oil the flavours were divine so I went back to buy one for a friend in Scotland only to find them packed up but they looked through and found me one. I can’t recommend them highly enough and can’t wait for them to come back to York. If they come to an event near to you it is well worth the trouble to go & find them and buy from them.
Fantastic flavoured mustard, the 3 herb and garlic and ginger mustard are both out of this world.
Excellent food, good advise, wonderful recipes and help in person and on line. A 5***** company.
What a great selection of thing on this market stall, lots of local produce from North Lincolnshire. Well worth a visit or most definitely worth a surf if only for the recipes listed for there goods.
I bought a bottle of Ricco from you last week after trying your sample, I used it today at a family gathering and everyone loved it, the only problem is that they all liked it so much the bottle is nearly empty.
A wonderful selection of produce from the normal chutneys to the strange like Tomatillo, never heard of it before but the taste is beyond belief.
I saw you in Brigg at the farmers market, I tried your infused olive oil the Italian spiced one is out of this world, as you recommended I made some wholemeal bread and added your oil, the blend of herbs and basil flavouring made a delicious bread which my husband and I ate for brunch (the whole large loaf).
best range of vinegars, most helpful with recipes and uses for her products. Nice to meet some one so pasionate about food.
I saw you on Sunday at Bolsover Castle & bought some wonderful products from you and promised to vote for you and I have. If anyone is not sure of these products they are the most tasteful, well presented foods I have tried in a long time. They had a fantastic display but the selection on line is far superior to most supermarkets just give them a try you wont be disappointed.
I received some of Spinney Kitchen’s rhubarb and orange chutney and raspberry vinegar for Christmas, loved the way they provide a recipe for the product on the label. I was not sure about the chutney, once opened and tried my husband and I ate it all on Christmas day and we had the raspberry vinegar on our pancakes for Boxing Day breakfast and revelled in the memories it brought back from our long forgotten childhood.
I came to your stall at the Lincoln food fair last weekend and read your information about been on U.K.T.V local hero and bought both the rhubarb chutney and horseradish mustard. The chutney was for me which I tried using the recipe you supplied that Gary had done on the program, the result was astounding, so I decided to try the mustard even though it was supposed to be a gift for a friend and again the results were just divine. Barbara, a new and loyal customer.
Such a pleasure to see a local company on local hero, same you did not go threw to the next round, our votes should count for the company who wins not the celebrity chef, next year maybe our thought should decide who wins and not Gary after all that is why we take the time to register and log in and vote.
WOW what a selection, and such good comments looking forward to trying your goods. Sorry you did not become the regional winner always next year, keep up the good work.
Well I don’t know what to say, I watched last night and thought I had miss heard so I have just watched the repeat and still I don’t know what to say, 5 companies selling meat and 1 selling something so different, you were the underdog all along but lets have it where we vote and that picks the winner. I will try the rhubarb recipe when I have seen you in Brigg at the farmers. All the best Tony
There really is no justice in this world; you have a lovely little family who deserved to win.
Ho I am so disappointed that you did not win this, when Gary was talking about your rhubarb chutney my husband and I thought you had it in the bag. I will offer you my condolences next Friday at the Lincolnshire food fair, hope the television exposure make your business grow as you deserve it. Betsy
Well what can I say that you must not already be thinking the things Gary said about were wonderful, the recipes were divine but not to be the Midlands winner was a travesty.
We watched you tonight at 9pm and then had to watch the repeat, Gary made some lovely comments but you should have come first.
What a disappointment we all sat and watched you were by far the best, well as they say always next year.
YOU WERE ROBBED THE ONLY PLACE NOT DOING MEAT, SOMETHING DIFFERENT IS ALWAYS GOOD, LOVED THE RECIPES GARY COOKED BUT YOU SHOULD HAVE COME FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!
There is always a warm welcome and a wonderful array of interesting and unusual products at Spinney Kitchen.
We have never tasted any thing as good as SPINNEY KITCHEN before, their flavoured oils are amazing, the quality is superb. Their vinegars are delicious especially on salads. Very knowledgeable and helpful lady was running the stall when I called. A friendly producer who encourages customers to try before you buy. The only thing I can now say about them is that any farmers market, food fare or event can only be enhanced by getting SPINNEY KITCHEN to attend.
They have a stall at the farmers market in Brigg, on the forth Saturday of every month. Their Red Onion Marmalade is to die for. Simply the BEST I have tasted. They are very helpful and passionate about the produce. There are samples on the stall to try before you buy. We recommend them to everyone we meet. So pleased they are threw to the filming stage hope Gary Rhodes likes your goods and the filming goes well with him on Thursday. Looking forward to seeing you on the telly. Wes in Epworth
I wish all traders at farmers markets could be this friendly and helpful. The products are all of excellent, quality and presentation second to none. Looking forward to seeing on the telly in November, hope you win the Midlands area and of course the final. Once again GOOD LUCK we know you can go all the way and fly the flag for Lincolnshire.
WELL DONE IN GETTING TO THE FINALS, I WAS SO PLEASED TO READ ABOUT YOU IN THE RASEN MAIL. I HOPE YOU WIN THE MONEY AS LOCAL FARMERS NEED ALL THE HELP THEY CAN GET, SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE FLOODING IN YOUR AREA, KEEP SMILING AND MAKING YOUR WONDERFUL HABANERO CHUTNEY, THIS IS THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD GOES DOWN A TREAT WITH MY OSTRICH BURGERS. GOOD LUCK IN THE NEXT ROUND.
WELL DONE. So pleased you have become a finalist, I had hoped to get into town to see the filming at the market but work commitments did not allow. If you see SPINNEY KITCHEN about you must try there Italian spiced olive oil, the blend of basil and oregano balance each other out. Keep going in the competition, I love the idea of a traditional English orchard if you win the prize, such a lovely way to spend the prize money. Shame it was not Gary Rhodes or Gordon Ramsey in Brigg who knows maybe later in the competition.
Hi there, so please a local company has come this far. I went into Brigg yesterday lunchtime to see the filming, looked very interesting, hope you go all the way to the final and win the competition, I am sure all of Lincolnshire is behind you as you are the only one left. Once again CONGRATULATIONS & WELL DONE.
I just wanted to say how pleased I am the SPINNEY KITCHEN has become a finalist in the competition. I was overjoyed to read it in the local paper and am looking forward to seeing them on the television. Good luck to all of you, will speak to you in Brigg at the farmers market this week.
My wife and I voted for this company after visiting there stall in Alford and am so proud that they have become a finalist. I hope they and their Rottweiler go all the way and win the prize. GOOD LUCK. Clayton.
What a brilliant selection of mouth-watering home cooked delights. Just tasting before buying led to a larger bill & two carrier bags, but the experience was one we will be repeating every month. Total dedication to making & selling the best Lincolnshire has to offer. PLEASE GIVE THIS LADY A TRY AND YOUR SUPPORT TO HELP HER WIN THIS AWARD YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. LET US GET A TASTE OF LINCOLNSHIRE TO THE REST OF THE U.K. AND LET THEM SEE WHAT WE CAN DO IN THIS COUNTY.
Spinney Kitchen are a nice friendly family fun business that treat me like family *two thumbs up* They have gorgeous foods that make the mouth water. Keep it up !
I love the fact that you can try all of the products before you buy, although this just proves to make the choice even harder.
This company show how truely fabulous lincolnshire's products are ! 10/10
Excellent. Friendly helpful service. Very knowledgeable at a great price. 10/10
Simply the best you can buy! Absolutely fantastic local produce made in Lincolnshire. The Lady serving know what she was talking about, and did not mind me tasting everything and asking questions even in the torrential rain that fell on Sunday at Brocklesby Country fair. I wish my Grandmother had shown me how to make all the lovely things like the lady’s at the stall had.
I went to the Lincolnshire show on Thursday beautifully laid out, well-presented and helpful staff. The best hot sauce out there, definitely or that is what my husband said about his gift from the show. One of the best in the best stalls in the UK. There is so much choice you cannot help but want to support this LOCAL COMPANY who are passionate about LOCAL FOOD buy from them PLEASE. I loved the vote for me tee shirt as well very eye catching.
Love the seasoning mixes and chutneys. A must have in every kitchen. The curry blends are out of this world, there vindaloo is full of flavour, a must for anybody.
Best farmers market stall I have been to in this area, its varied and if you can't find anything you like there’s no hope for you!!! Amazing choice and range.
Spinney Kitchen is one of those places where great pleasure and pride in what they do is of up most importance. She transfers her love and passion for her food to every bottle and jar and it shows. Excellent quality, good prices, great friendly service.
This lady (sorry I can’t remember your name) is passionate about quality, taste and customer service. It is the most fantastic market stall with wonderfully delicious products on sale; love the idea of recipes on every label.
They have an extensive knowledge of everything chilli. Everything they do is of an extremely high standard & made with passion. Above all else, they are extremely friendly & helpful. They also make a lime pickle to die, definitely the best in the world. 100/100 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Total dedication to making & selling the best Lincolnshire has to offer. PLEASE GIVE THIS LADY A TRY YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. ADD YOUR VOTE TODAY AND MAKE HER YOUR HERO FOR 2007.
Have had a number of their chutneys and they are good, we are working our way threw all the chutneys & mustards with Jalapeños in them. As well as keeping the dried ones in the cupboard for our curries.
From all my years as a vegetarian this is the one stall I've found where everything is vegetarian friendly - 10/10.
Friendly stallholders (even the Rottweiler on a duvet under the stall) who know the answers to all your questions, and product sampling even in the very wet of spring bank weekend. Great range of chutneys and wholegrain mustard - full of flavour, a joy to serve and share.
What a mouth-watering selection, I sampled and bought things I never knew I liked.
Quality of produce is always top class wonderful place to visit. 10/10
I went to Woodhall Spa Country Show this weekend & sampled a delightful Habanero chilli chutney, words can’t describe the taste. This thick tasty chutney was more like a relish & went down a storm with our burgers. I for one will continue to support this very helpful & knowledgeable company.
I went to Horncastle continental market on May Day Monday and was so pleased to see that Spinney Kitchen was there as we had just run out of their Lemon & Garlic infused oil. Nothing else matches up to the taste whether we use it as a drizzle on salad and pasta or cook fish and poultry this oil is unsurpassable.
Spinney Kitchen are well know in North Lincolnshire for selling good quality produce with a smile and advice when needed, every farmers market needs a Spinney Kitchen.
Not a lot to say about the place except that it's MAGIC!!! 10 / 10
Great Products, amazing variety of chilli sauce, chutney & fantastic jellies. Knowledgeable and hardworking. A true Local Food Hero for 2007.
They have the best Habanero jelly in the world EVER!!!!!!! Had bought some chili jelly in Italy, and struggled to find something remotely comparable, until I went to the Brigg Farmers Market and there it was! Goes great with cheese and a glass of wine.
I first met the woman who owns this company, Antoinette, at the A Taste of Lincolnshire event in Horncastle. Our local celebrity chef Rachel Green, sang her praises all day, and used many of her oils, vinegars, chutneys & mustards in her cooking demonstrations. I now will only use Spinney Kitchens oils & infused vinegars on my salads. I hope the work Antoinette puts into her products gets her the recognition she deserves, so come on all you yellow bellies out there vote for this fantastic local company to be your food hero for 2007.
What a find! The most amazing food. Could not fault the presentation or service. Real attention to detail from people who obviously love what they do, and take pride in it. I used there Italian spiced olive oil on my pasta last night what an explosion of flavours. I could taste the basil & oregano both had a delicate balance with the olive oil they had infused them in. I love the idea of a recipe on each of the product labels as well as many on-line recipes. I will diffidently use this company in the future & would go as far as to say I would even tell my mother-in-law about them!!!!!
As a lover of Balsamic vinegar, I saw this woman had a selection on her stall, she was telling people who tasted her goods how good this bottle of Ricco was. Therefore, after I had listened & the woman said what excellent value it was at only £11.99 for a beautiful rich thick black vinegar I thought I would give it a try. WOW is all I can say, I have tried Balsamics at £60.00 & £70.00 but they could not hold a candle to this Ricco. If you happen to see Spinney Kitchen or if you visit there site you must try this wonderful vinegar.
Everything that leaves Spinney kitchen tastes and looks like perfection, just like being in heaven. 10/10
I've never visited, but I had an excellent experience trying to trace a rare olive oil which they had in stock. They were happy to supply me and a day afer my order was placed it was delivered to my front door. Excellent and nice people.
This woman’s produce was recommended at a cookery demo by Rachel Green who sang the praises of her 3 herb & garlic mustard, I bought one at £3.25 & thought it can’t be up to much at that price but I gave it a whirl. Now I know why celebrity chefs like Rachel recommend these things, the most fantastic flavours I have ever tasted in wholegrain mustard. I hope this lady & her fine products will once again be at Nottingham farmers market as I for 1 will miss her if this is a one off visit. Made the old fashioned way and you can tell.
This place is fantastic, the staff is so friendly and helpful and welcoming.
This is a fantastic place to visit.
Great place for local produce, such a rare thing these days. They have a large variety of chutney all reasonably priced. Quality better than the big London stores.
Today April 20th I visited this stall in Nottingham city farmers market, all I can say about my visit is lovely enthusiastic staff, delicious food 10 our of 10
Great service, even better chutney & oil & produced in North Lincolnshire.
Simply the best you can buy!
Excellant food and service, nothing is too much trouble.
Not a lot to say about the place except that it's MAGIC!!!
great what more can one say
This little market stall is wonderful, the lady was extremely helpful & friendly, all the labels on the bottles had recipes & she did not mind me looking threw for one I liked the sound of. It was a very quick & easy lemon venison & even I managed to get it to the plate without the smoke alarm going off!!!!
What can one say 10/10 for presentation, knowledge & quality of the food they sell.
This place is utterly awesome, best food outlet around! Garry Rhodes has some rivalry! :P Excellent service here too! Not a complaint at all, wholey satisfied!
The selection of peppercorns at this company is one of the best I have ever seen worldwide. Try them you won’t be disappointed, I guarantee it.
This lady is very friendly, products excellent quality & they deserve to win. I stood and listened to her sales pitch last Sunday in Revesby and she told everyone about her products, and everyone who purchased form Spinney Kitchen was given a card and a piece of paper explaining how to vote for them. If they put this much effort into getting votes the effort they put into there products must be fantastic. When I got home and tried the jalapeño lime pickle I was more than satisfied.
What can one say about Spinney Kitchen, fantastic choice of goods, cant be beaten on price or quality. Staff second to none very informative.
The selection at this company stall is far nominal, excellent food, excellent quality & excellent value for money.
The selection here is second to none. I have tried the oil, mustards, herbs and I can’t find fault with any thing. The staff are very friendly & helpful, nothing more I can say other than to go and try it will be the best thing you every try !!!!
The array of herbs & spices are second to none. I tried a harissa spice mixed with crème fresh over new potatoes & garden peas I can’t begin to describe the taste to you, all I can say is give them a try.
I visited this stall at Brigg fair & took so long to choose the tea I wanted they had sold out, however the lady working there said not a problem where do you live I told her and she said not a problem I can deliver them to you Monday morning as I will be driving past your village. What a fantastic service I will definitely buy other things from this company, with service like this you can’t ask for anything better. ******
A large selection of hand made chutneys, the flavors are divine. I tried the gooseberry, fantastic taste with a hint of herbs, can’t be beaten in my opinion.
Try mixing there hot & sweet mustard with there Lincolnshire honey and pouring it over your Sunday roast, the best beef crust we have ever had. !!!!! & at 57 I have had plenty to eat so I know what I am talking about. Support this young family, it’s what the food hero awards are all about.
The young lady at this stall was very helpful and told me how to make a raspberry salmon salad using her raspberry vinegar, I tried this for Sunday lunch and what a delight to eat, the only problem was I could have eaten more but the waist line could not take it.
Wonderful selection, wonderful recipes, really helpful staff. 10/10.
this place is fantastic 10-10
This may only be a moving market stall but the selection & choice of balsamic vinegars is second to none

good honest food without all the rubbish.
Try the chilli infused oil, a little really does go such a long way, beautiful color and flavor. All the flavor of the chilli with the warmth to go with it but no burn. Just give it a try and at only £5.00 it comes in a lovely glass bottle, value second to none.
You must try 3 herb and garlic mustard. mix with a few spoons of mayo and double cream then serve on hot new potatoes. TO DIE FOR!!!!!! Friendly service +++++++

I found this company at Brigg Farmers market; they sell the most wonderful hot chill sauce, and a LARGE selection of spices and olive oils as well as a great selection of tisanes. Well worth the trip to Brigg to buy just from them.
I found these people by accident & know I won’t buy my chutney or infused oils or balsamics {aged from 6 to 60 years} from anyone else. They really are a food hero, check out there web site it is so informative, lots of recipes.
