We ate here on Wednesday- what a disappointment! Starter of crab mayonnaise had virtually no crab present. Main course of "duck confit" was overcooked duck breast - in theory cooked in "confit style". To make up for the quality the "chef" sent a mixed desert platter but since I don't eat sweets was a nice idea but not of any value. Would be very reluctant to try it again or to recommend it.

Ate in this fanastic restaurant last night again for the third time this month and it still continues to delight the palate. No matter what is put in front of you is a masterpiece and the flavours - you could go on forever. The vanilla and coffee tart is just a work of art - the coffee is the best. Keep up the brillant work.

Classy silver service and dependable experienc ed staff -would not be out of place in any expensive eating quarter in the world yet 3 of us ate here with sparkling water and bottle excellent sauvignon blanc - both at perfect temperature - 2 courses + coffee ( petit fours on the house as usual ) for just over £50 ( before 7 pm -beat that!

Copper consistently pleases the palate with fresh local produce prepared with great imagination and love. The service is always warm and professional and the staff truly care about the food and the customers. Copper is the only restaurant in the locality which serves a comprehensive vegetarian menu. I highly commend it.

Warm and welcoming staff who are knowlegeable about the food and wine, and for whom nothing is too much trouble - serve the inspired dishes made from seasonal, local produce by a mastercraftsman. Neil and Sarah are a winning team who have cracked the formula for an excellent restaurant and a great night out. I have continually recommended this restaurant to anyone I am talking to, secure in the knowledge that they will undoubtedly have a first class meal in a good restaurant. Neil's risotto, sauces, attention to detail with his vegetables, and heavenly desserts make this place a must - time after time!

Everything about Copper is special. The menu changes monthly and the choices are very wide-ranging. Often I can't get past the "starters" the choice is so good! And then there are the "treats" - like the homemade breads, the small taster of wonderful soups that leaves you wanting more, and the final petits four which round off the meal perfectly. We always go into Copper determined to only have two courses - being oldies we are trying to watch our waistlines - but one look at the menu and our determination just evaporates and our will power is non-existent. So three courses it always is. The staff are really great - and so patient! And they never show by word or deed that they would really like their "eaters" to go home so that they can get to bed. We are moving to live in Spain in early September and I am hoping I can persuade Neil and Sarah to open up Copper II in Andalucia!

Top quality food, excellent service, the menu is always changing & always exciting. The little things like the homemade bread rolls & petit fours & the small tasters of exotic soups. Everything about Copper is special!

I first had the joy of experiencing dining in this wonderful restaurant purely by chance, having found myself in Warrenpoint one night, hungry, and in need of some good food. I wasn't disappointed. In fact I was so blown away by EVERYTHING I insisted on bringing a small group of friends with me for my birthday night out, just to prove it wasn't a once off the first time! the staff were so friendly & couldn't have been more attentive if they'd tried. They even gave me a free bottle of wine to celebrate my night! and the food.....oh the fooooood.....I can honestly say nowhere - and I mean NOWHERE - has come close since. In fact any other place I've eaten in since has fallen so short of the Copper I am reluctant to spend my hard earned cash anywhere else! As the menu changes on a monthly basis I am never stuck for choice. This is marvellous for me because I'm one of those fussy people that only eat fish. The choice is just fantastic, my meat eating otherhalf is just as fussy & he's always struggling to decide just which treat he'd like to try next. The vegetarian options are vast & the Chef is very talented at producing dishes to almost make you WANT to be a vegetarian (just to make narrowing down your choices easier!). I have been back again since that night....and what can I say....it just blows me away each time. The value for money is just out of this world. Will I be back? what do you think!?! counting the days til my next excuse to eat out!

A warm & friendly welcome, attentive & knowledgeable service, comfortable & relaxed surroundings and the food Chef Neil Bradley creates from produce so local some of it comes straight from his own back garden! At Copper everything is made in house from the fresh bread to the petit fours and with menus changing on a monthly basis Neil makes the most of the produce that is at its peak and creates mouth watering dishes to excite the palate of everyone, we have had kids under a year old become regulars and not a chicken nugget in sight! Although Copper only opened 18 months ago we have already come to the attention of the major food guides & have recently won the prestigious greater Newry area "Best New Business Award" These are some of the things that make Copper special, then there is the magic that comes only from a great meal with great company!
