Not only does Jackson's Butchers stock fresh, high quality meat which is all reared on their own farm; but they also have a variety of other goodies including pastries, tarts, a variety of breads and fresh locally grown vegetables, eggs and jam. Jackson's was recently named UK Butcher of the Year.

I now live in England but go home to Carrickfergus as often as I can. I always get all my meat and bread at this shop to bring back, as there is not another butchers as excellent as Jacksons.

Can't find fault with Jacksons butchers and bakery. Exceptional standards of meat and all you have to do is ask and they will go out of their way to get you what you want. The bakery area cannot be passed without lifting something. My kids would do anything for a slice of their boiled cake!!!
The meat is of the highest quality.This is because there meat comes from their own farm.The shop is laid out really well and all the staff are very helpfull. The fellas that work there are not bad looking fellas.One in particular flirts with all the single mums.I dont need to say names he knows who he is.

You always get a friendly reception. The meat is top class quality and the bread, cakes and pies are lovely. The shop is well laid out and easy accessabile. I wouldn`t shop anywhere else.
Jacksons produces undoubtly the finest tasting meat that I have eaten anywhere in the UK including in the finest London resturants such as the Ritz, the Oak Room and the Ivy.
The meat is always of the same very high standard. Not only do you get great meat,cakes etc you also come out feeling a lot happier thanks to the fun and jokes with the staff.
I love the food at Jacksons, fresh meat, bread and veg. A fabulous friendly place to shop. The "boys" flirt with the female customers outrageously and this is part of the appeal!!

The quality of the produce here is second to none, i would certainly go of my way to get my meat here. The duck is exceptional!
They sell local produce, their foods are second to none. I travel ten miles to go to this shop and it is never a problem because we know that we can depend on everything that is being sold
All products are excellent quality and locally producted, they even rear their own cattle. It is a family business there is always a bit of chat while you are being served

JACKSONS IS A WELL KNOWN FAMILY BUTCHERS, WITH VERY FRIENDLY STAFF WHO ARE ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP. THE BAKERY FOOD IS ALSO VERY NICE SO WHY NOT GET DOWN TO JACKSONS AND GIVE IT A TRY!!!!!
i have worked in a few shops and jacksons is by far the best quality of produce and you know that the meat you are serving is fresh from their own cattle. the staff all work well together and we know our customers individually and always have a smile for everyone! micheal.
Excellent quality meats and also lovely bread, cakes, coleslaw etc. The staff are very friendly,they always have a smile and are very helpful. I travel quite a few miles to shop there.
Established in 1850 Jacksons is a family run butchers that offers great car parking facilites as well a large variety of goods produced on site including pastries, apple tarts, salads, pies and much, much more. Also they rare all the meat and lamb sold on their very own farms.
Don't forget the banter. The boys even flirt with my mum, who is in her eighties....
THEY SELL TOP QUALITY MEAT AND POULTRY - TOP QUALITY HOME BAKING ALSO VEGETABLES SALADS ETC - ALWAYS A QUEUE WHICH IS A GREAT SIGN AND THE FRIENDLYNESS AND HELPFULNESS OF THE STAFF IS SECOND TO NONE - THEY MAKE SHOPPING A PLEASURE.

THIS PLACE SELLS LOCAL PRODUCE AND IS KEPT TO A VERY HIGH STANDARD OF CLEANLINESS STAFF ARE ALL VERY HELPFUL AND CHEERFUL. THEIR MEAT IS ALWAYS FRESH AND THEY HAVE A GOOD VARIETY. THEY ALSO HAVE A BAKERY AND DO EXCELLENT PIES, LASAGNES, BREADS, BUNS AND THEIR BIRTHDAY CAKES ARE SECOND TO NONE.
