Until Mark and Terri arrived, Cawston had no place for us all to meet up and mardle the time away. They are a real assett to the local community with no inflated North Norfolk/London prices, unlike many other similar outlets close by. They source good quality local food from local suppliers and sell it at realistic prices that the villagers can afford, not just tourists and weekenders. They are always welcoming to all locals and visitors alike and go out of their way to support the local school and other community projects. The food and service is of high quality and excellent value for money.
We found this wonderful shop while on holiday They bake some of their bread, stock local cured meats,also vegtables such as asparagus. Strawberrys were divine, and ther homemade quiches were to die for! But above all, they were the centre of the community with a coffee shop for people to meet at for a chat. This couple really love their food and the little touches such as packing the shopping into boxes and carrying them to the car. We tried to persaude them to move to Salisbury, but alas our loss is Cawston's gain.
