View all reviews (4)I regularly buy their bacon through another Food Hero nominee, Buntings Butchers in Maldon High Street. It is the best I have ever tasted, it's almost a waste to put it in a buttie. But it is ideal in a mixed grill.
Oh the bacon! The bacon! Wonderful thick slices of smoky heaven and the perfect accompaniment to fried mushrooms in your Saturday morning butty. No white goo, just lovely smoky bacon just waiting to be eaten. It's available from the Colchester Farmers Market too. The animal husbandry is reflected in the quality of the end product. Simply great bacon and I'm sure the rest of their meat is just as good if the bacon is anything to go by. Go buy, fry and try! Lovely!
