I love having my surprise box of fish. Althoughh there is always an excellent recipe it is some times good to have thechallenge to find my own.The portions are always generous. I have met the team at a local food fair and when I phone up for a special order it is good to talk to people you know. They are all extremely helpful and answer queries well. Having been brought up on the coast and eaten fish almost as soon as it had been landed t is a jo to have such an excellent service in the middle of landlocked Shripshire.

As a relative newcomer to Fish In A Box, I can thoroughly recommend the quality, presentation and service provided. Fish In A Box supplies the range of fish only available in specialist outlets, with the convenience of it being delivered to your door, and supplying recipes which are particularly useful when it's a fish you may not have tried before. They provide an all round 5 star service.

Since using Fish in a Box I have eaten a variety of fish on a regular basis. It is always fresh, succulent and delivered to my door which is an added bonus, asf I would probably not eat as much fish if I had to go and out buy it. Hazel Scrivener

Before I started using Fish in a Box I was a bit of a fish phobic and only bought the varieties I was used to - ie smoked haddock and prawns! Now I have two different varieties of fish delivered every week and enjoy experimenting with recipes.

Delicious, incredibly fresh fish, brought right to your door at less price than you would pay in the shop! And a chatty, fun newsletter - and a recipe each time and more on the website. Helpful, friendly and cheery advice on the fish and how to treat it and cook it, at the end of a phone or by email. It doesn't matter if you don't have a clue about fresh fish - the Fish In A Box people will help without jargon or fuss. You can also state your preferences - such as "no farmed fish" or "no mackerel" or whatever - and they'll remember. They also hold email "auctions" each week of any excess etc., which means there are real bargains to be had (and it's fun!). The FIAB people *listen* to their customers and change what they offer accordingly. (For example, one customer offered a fish pie recipe and it turned out he was buying a frozen 'mixed fish' pack from the supermarket; instead of getting huffy about this, FIAB immediately created their own (far superior) version of the mixed fish selection! This is not only an easy and efficient way to shop for fresh fish, it's also tremendous fun and like being part of a community!
