By far the best retaurant in the area!! The friendly staff coupled with the outstanding food make Bay's the perfect location for dinner with friends or celebrating special occasions.

The whole team make you feel welcome from the moment you step in the door to the moment you leave. The menu is inventive using locally produced food where possible. The Early Bird is a real gem and no less creative than the main menu, at a great price! Highly recommended

Have been a loyal customer for years because they use great quality local foods in an inventive and modern way but flavour is not sacrificed to style.Equally inventive approach to the wine list as the food and always good value for the quality of cooking, ingredients and service provided.

We've been going to Bay's since it opened. It has much of the quality the original Barn Again had, as well as friendly service and excellent food, with good vegetarioan options.

I discovered Bays Bistro by accident!! It's the best kept secret in North Tyneside. The food, the service, in fact everything is second to none!!

A restaurant for all occassions; quiet night, relaxation after a hard day / week, birthday, anniversary etc. The staff are superb, the atmosphere wonderful and the food sublime. We keep coming back again and again. Not to be missed. Its a firm favourite and in my opinion one of the best around!

Have been going to Bays for years now, have even done a "stage" in the kitchen once in a while, the professionalism ( without the stuffiness), welcome, food & ambience is second to none

We are "early birds" and it is a pleasure to be able to have a beautifully cooked and presented meal at 5.30 in the afternoon. Bay's is a little local gem, the quality is consistently good and the staff attentive without being effusive. A most relaxing eating experience.

What can I say, nowhere in the area comes close to Bay's for quality of food, wine selection and excellence of service from Sean, Joanne and the team. Whether its an early bird meal with the kids, large family sunday lunch or a fantastic A La Cart experience.

This is definately the best restaurant in the area and rivals even the best restaurants in Newcastle City Centre. What is so special about Bays Bistro is it's attention to detail combined with it's lack of arrogance. Sean Joanne and the staff always make you feel welcome. The quality of the food and presentation are always excellent. Bay's Bistro caters for all ages and has a fabulous relaxed atmosphere - Superb restaurant - friendly and attentive staff - tasty olives - marvellous flavoured butters - addictive coffee bean flavoured chocolates - the list goes on - try it you won't be disappointed !

Ahh! Bays. We love this place. Weather it’s for a business lunch away from the city a romantic dinner or a big party. Sean Joanne and the Crew will make you feel like family. The endless complimentary Olives and great selections of breads with flavored butters alone are enough to get us through the door every week. With an exiting menu that never stands still, always taking full advantage of local and seasonal produce, you’ll never need to go anywhere else. Sunday Lunch….What can we say-simply the BEST!!

I value the individuality of this restaurant. They look after special requests from customers and provide an excellent restaurant within walking distance of home. I am never disappointed! I can take grandchildren as well as the elderly to this restaurant as "everything" is on one level.

I have only ever been to the bay bistro for sunday Lunch and I have to say that it was delicious. The restaurant is a modern contemporary place with a good selection of drinks available at the bar too. There are complimentary olives on arrival and a very nice place to eat. Marvellous!
