As the name suggests, smoked food reigns supreme here. Salmon, bacon, ham, and a range of nuts are beech or oak-smoked in the smokestoves close by. But there's more - a lot more. The careful selection of produce makes for an interesting shopping experience. You can't possibly leave without trying something new or going back for a newly acquired passion e.g smoked nuts.

The Smokehouse has possible the best quality meat I have ever had. The variety of produce on offer is excellent. I am lucky enough to live locally and pop and get fresh produce regularly, but even if I lived further afield I would gladly travel further for the quality and range The Smokehouse offers.

Sorry to have to buck the trend of praising to the limit but I find their products quite ordinary in quality yet very expensive. No complaints just no gushing praise because its simply not that special or worthy!

I can't recommend the Cheshire Smokehouse too highly. All the produce is wonderful. I have never found better beef and lamb, with a really knowledgeable expert butcher on hand to offer help and advice - nothing is too much trouble for Frank. In fact, all the staff are excellent - professional, helpful and friendly. I'm lucky enough to live locally, but it really is worth travelling any distance to visit.

I am a regular visitor to the Smokehouse I find that I get good quality produce excellent service and fantastic value for money. There is everything I need under one roof. As I live quite a way away it is really nice to visit the upstairs cafe where I can have a full meal or just coffee and snacks in between shopping.

I work at The Cheshire Smokehouse, been there for over 10 years, and I wouldn't want to work anywhere else. I enjoy every minute - even Christmas, which can be hectic since I'm responsible for the hampers. The Smokehouse is friendly, fun and full of lovely, lovely food.
