Tapa Coffee & Bakehouse

Bakery / Patisserie Café

Selling: Bread / Bakery, Home-Cooked Dishes

An East End artisan bakery, café and coffee shop named after the South Pacific tapa cloth which, like the food offered here, is always handmade. They produce a range of delicious breads, scrummy cakes, sandwiches, tarts, salads and soups, all made from scratch and made with the best organic ingredients that they can find. Tapa even roast their own coffee at their Coffeehouse (721 Pollockshaws Rd, G41 2AA) and offer a unique and interesting range of coffees that have all been roasted in small batches to ensure freshness. Their coffee has been branded “the best in this city by a country mile” by The Herald. You can visit the Coffeehouse and “one of the world’s greatest bakers” (according to The Guardian) 7 days a week. Enjoy!

Tapa bread is stunning and the coffee is faultless (special mention to yummy brioche and the best chocolate cherry brownies anywhere). It's family friendly, with high chairs, and is a wonderful laid back location for a lazy breakfast (big portions) or lunch. Good range of organic cupboard essentials too. Much loved local superhero.

Fantastic fresh, wholesome, organic coffee and food. Great place, great atmosphere and great smell all adds up to first class lazy breakfast/brunch and what makes it even better is that it's all cooked less than 3 metres away from you! Highly recommended!
