Pieminister

Specialist Provider

Selling: Bread / Bakery

When Jonathan Simon and Tristan Hogg launched Pieminister in early 2004, their mission was to change the face of the humble pie. Two years on and their handmade pies, which use local ingredients, have become omnipresent in pubs, delis and markets across the South West. The range is expanding all the time, but old favourites like Minty Lamb and Chicken Of Aragon take some beating.

I worked over the road from Pieminister for a few years. I am a fussy eater, and I became a local here, thats how awesome this shop is. These are the best pies I have EVER tasted, period.

This place makes the best pies on the planet, and is especially loved by me being a veggie, as the fillings are superb and inventive.

I work close to the Pieminister - and the wonderful aromas of pies cooking can be enjoyed from early morning until late afternoon. You cannot pass by without trying the amazing pies. Imaginative names too for the most imaginative pies. Fabulous!

You can eat them in a pub, in the shop or sitting outside at a Festival and they're always amazing. They're personal pies of choice (and I've had a few!)

they've totally revived the pie with mouth watering fillings, and using all local ingredients. there's an almost cult following, it's brilliant! And they're obviously very picky about their staff because everyone who works there is awesome!

Local boys making outstanding pies all using local and free-range ingredients. Bristol is a lucky town to have them; they deserve to win so they can expand and more people can eat their heavenly pies. I think they're heroes.

Pie Ministers is top notch. Veggie options are the best around - the sort of pie you have cravings for in the middle of the night!

Being a Scotsman and a Baker we enjoy our Pies My only comment would be that i could not eat any more, first class pastry nicely baked, plenty of filling which had the flavours. Well done, can you open in Scotland

Considering Pieminister has only been around since 2004 it's already a favourite in Bristol and if they continue to offer great tasting pies at fantastic value there's no stopping them from impressing the rest of Britain, if not the world!!

The fillings for the pies are unusual and very tasty. Pieminster have a stall at the bristol Slow Food Market (first Sunday of each month)and my husband looks forward to trying a really good pie on the Monday for dinner!
