Meat is fully traceable and thoroughly Cornish. Philip Warren is also the Rare Breeds Survival Trust butcher for the area, and therefore able to sell wonderful tasting pork and beef from many of the old breeds such as Red Ruby, Hereford, Galloway and South Devon.

Their range is outstanding, the quality excellent, the staff are second to none - always helpful, smiling and knowledgeable about the meat they sell. They sell REAL meat!! If only there were more like them.
Ilike the local family buther feeling it has.(Because that's what it is) The position is good.The queue right out into the square is famous, but one does not have to wait long. There are enough assistants to keep the queue moving swiftly & there is usually someone you know to pass the time of day with.

Warrens Butchers is a magical place! Having a local buthcers is a rare breed in itself!! Super service, great knowlege of all products makes any meal time a treat. Can't wait until my next visit - it's like being a kid in sweet shop. Thanks Philip.

We never cooked beef in London because it was always tough. We thought it was the cook but since arriving in Launceston, we realise it was the meat. Beef you can cut with a spoon! Always a smile and a friendly greeting and advice. Wonderful displays - queues out the door. Great sausages. Everything local. Mmmmmm......

This butcher sells locally produced meat and his produce is the best I have ever tasted. His sausages are particularly good. They always have a friendly smile and will advise you if you ask for help with different cuts of meat.
