Producers of Halen Mon, a highly prized sea salt renowned for its purity and the crunchy texture of its crystals. The salt is certified by the Soil Association and provides a valuable balance of minerals and trace elements including zinc, calcium and magnesium. The shop is based on the site where the salt is produced and stocks are smoked, spiced, celery and vanilla varieties of Halen Mon as well as a range of oils, vinegars and other artisan produce. Buy from the on-site shop or via mail order.

View all reviews (10)Fantastic just sprinkled on a fresh, juicy red tomato straight from the greenhouse. Or simply chop up some sweet potato, mushrooms, courgettes, red onions, peppers and butternut squash, drizzle in olive oil and sprinkle with Halen Mon - bang it in the oven for 40 minutes or so, give it a bit of a shuffle every so often. Delicious!
This is a beautiful pure sea salt, one version is oak smoked and has the most delicious flavour especially when used on fish.
i gave this company top marks all round because they deserve it, the proof is in the product, enough said!
Oh good God this stuff is tasty! You can't beat that smoked salt on some salad or some potatoes roasted with olive oil and spiced sea salt. Can't wait to try that vanilla salt -sounds mad! Good luck to the company -hope you guys win!
The salt is just amazing, I cant'get enough of it, it taste so pure and fresh. My favourite way of using it; hot chips with a good dollop of mayo sprinkled with the smoked salt - amazing and now they have made vanilla salt; I can't wait to try it. Well done Halen Mon you are a credit to all things tasty.
Too expensive
The spiced salt is my favourite, sprinkled over potatoes before roasting - makes the best roasties you have ever tasted! Give it a go you will not be disappointed.
Alison & David are passionate about what they do. Everyone that works there is enthusiastic about the salt products. I admit to having an interest as I use Halen Mon Sea Salt to flavour potato crisps we manufacture. However, the quality of the salt is faultless.
Not only is the salt that you receive from here second to none and original but the staff are so friendly it is unbelievable. I always deal with a lady called Nicola Hughes - nothing is too much trouble and she always goes out of her way to help. What a fantastic company with fantastic products and what a great asset Nicola is.
Halen Mon sea salt is simply the best salt available. I cannot recommend it highly enough!!
