What a simply delightful place, I saw it advertised in a little free magazine I picked up from Sainsburys checkout Grapevine I think. This place is a gem! The blueberry muffins with cheesecake toping are to die for!!! Virgin olive oil on tap is a fantastic idea too, saves on recycling as you just take it back for a refill - Sweet!

As soon as you walk through the door you realise that this place is serious about food!! The smells and sights are delicious and the staff are passionate about what they sell!! It's amazing how much time you can spend in one small shop! Well worth a visit - even from Manchester!!

What a great little deli! Lots of delicious fresh products and such a ample selection of pasta and sauces, coffee, olive oil... you name it. Something for everyone. Banyan Tree Deli also do beautiful sandwiches and the occasional cheese cake (scrumptious). A must try!! Thank You.

Family in the area introduced me to this fantastic deli. Quality produce is carefully selected and lovingly distributed. Friendly staff with product knowledge second to none - including the all important provenance. Banyan Tree Deli does that bit extra to source products my locals won't. By far the best around.

A delightful little deli. The store is well set out with beautiful displays. The staff are extremely welcoming and knowledgable, they can always suggest something to suit your individual tastes. It's well worth the 300 mile trip!

Well what can I say? Everything about this place is special and truly represents what good food is all about. The bread and the cheeses are particularly fantastic, and if feeling really peckish you can treat yourself to a packet of flaming lobster crisps or some of the fantastic cheesecake (that lime jelly one was good by the way!!!). Everything sold in this shop is of the highest quality and if you need some advice, the staff are always eager to help and will suggest recipes for produce you perhaps haven't cooked with before. If you live near this deli and you haven't gone in, you are seriously missing out on some of the best (and possibly the smelliest, yes you mr stinky bish) food going. I could sit here all day and write about how great this place in, but I'm off to cook risotto and use the spoon with the hole in that I got there!!

The passsion with which they source new products. Their friendly service. They are a genuine deli in a city that is otherwise bereft of good ones. They also support local producers.

the patchwork pates are unbelievabl, so creamy and full of flavour, and is adored at my dinner paties, and even more it's welsh.

The Banyan Tree Deli gets your taste buds tingling, and mouth watering as soon as your walk through the door, it has a wide and diverse range of products with many of them being made in the UK. The staff are always freindly, knowlegdeable and enthusiastic and their cheese cake (hand made by the owner Vicki) is simply divine

The Banyan Tree is absolutely fantastic. Such good value for money and the staff are very helpful and you can tell that they care about what they sell. The olives taste divine and there are always samples of food on display to try before you buy. I only wish that all shops were of this standard. Pure Brilliance!!

Such a lovely little place, such a variety of food, and the type of knowledge from staff that you get from people who actually care about what they sell. Sandwiches are some of the nicest I've ever eaten, and the samples that are often out are a great way to try before you buy.

Banyan Tree deli is an amazing place that sells and array of organic and vegan products from chocolates to pesto. The staff are willing to assist you in any way that they can especially when trying to reach for a product on a high shelf! The best product has to be the lemon and lavender cheesecake which is truly delicious and made on the premises.
