After many years training and working in Switzerland, Ceris and Andreas Brunzel decided to open a delicatessen and takeaway in Ceri's hometown of Ruthin. The emphasis is on local and continental produce, with chef Andreas preparing the hams, roasts, quiches, salads, puddings and breads. Sandwiches and baguettes are also available - you can even order these online.

The best shop in the area! A champion of local produce, and an amazing range of foods from all over the world. Brilliant staff and service, delicious takeaway menu - and to repeat other reviews, nothing is too much trouble! Ceris will get anything you want, however difficult to track down, and for a special occasion Andreas will cook up anything you fancy! A fast expanding business which still retains it's individuality and friendliness - I wish I could visit more often!

It is one of the hidden treasures of North Wales, please beware, you are entering an establishment of extreme yummishness, knowhere else, even Harrods, Selfridges and Fortnum & Mason's food halls come anywhere close to the sheer concentration of yumminess per square foot, and the service, well, they'll deliver for free and not even a minimum amount of spend, and, and everything is so reasonably priced, although you could quite easily spend your whole wage packet on so much deliciousness. I have had to limit the amount of visits I make and that has been harder than giving up smoking. Just in case you hadn't guessed already, I can't recommend them highly enough, keep up the good work

Leonardos Deli in Ruthin is a real find! An Aladdins cave for cooks! The staff are so helpful and very pleasant! and the sandwiches are really yummy!!
An excellent knowledge of their stock; always wiling to obtain other products if asked; nothing is 'too much trouble', and staff are fantastic. Very interesting shop to visit. Ruthin has benefitted greatly by their presence.Many people from out of Ruthin know about it and will visit the town because of Leonardos. Food is fantastic too!
