What could be better than a fish shop owned and run by an ex-fisherman' Each day John makes an early morning trip to the fish market at Lowestoft to pick up cod, sole and herring landed on the Suffolk coast. Crabs and lobsters, however, are supplied directly from a fishing family on the Norfolk coast, arriving live and cooked at the shop. Open Tuesday to Saturday.

This WAS an excellent traditional wet fish shop - BUT it closed down in January 2008 and the premises will not re-open as a fish shop. There is no longer a traditional fish shop in the centre of Southwold! Plenty of fish to be had down at the harbour if you can get there
