Description
The owner has kept pigs for five years, however his business was only begun a little over a year ago. It is easy to see why customers would be so attracted to this new enterprise; all of the produce sold comes from pedigree Welsh pigs, farmed humanely with quality and flavour in mind. They are butchered locally and to the requirements of the customer, and can be bought at ten different farmers’ markets and over the gate of his own farm.

We have purchased pork from Chris at Panorama Pigs. The meat is of excellent quality and flavour, and the crackling is as good as the old fashioned (proper) crackling. You can tell the animals that produce this pork are happy by the meat texture and taste. This outlet is highly recommended and long may they continue. Chris and family are special people who produce extra special pork at very reasonable prices.

We had 1/4 of pig of Chris, very tasty meat, superb crackling. Good sized joints, not too much fat, just right. You can always tell if the animal has been well treated, it comes out in the meat. Keep up the fantastic work and well down at the Smallholders.

We were served some pork from this producer at a banquet and I can honestly say I've never had meat so delicious. Hope I get a chance to eat more of it at some point!

Very tasty pedigree Welsh pork, was so impressed with the meat I have previously purchased from them I have just picked up two half pigs, one for me and another for my sister who was also impressed with the quality and taste. Good to see the pigs free ranging and running around when I visited the farm to pick up the pork. Will be trying their lamb next as I have heard (and now seen) good things about that too.

Chris Beck and his family are passionate about their pigs, breeding them with welfare and flavour in mind on the family smallholding. The pigs are slaughtered locally to minimise stress to the animal, then expertly butchered to the customer's requirements, our orders have always come neatly boxed and ready for the freezer. This is the best pork we have ever tasted, crackling the way it ought to be, and all from a friendly supplier who raises prizewinning pigs that are happy as well as delicious. You can find them at an increasing number of farmers markets or buy direct from the farm (they also do lamb). Highly recommended! review this place now 1
