The Ye Old Sun Inn serves customers wholesome food made from locally sourced ingredients where possible. They grow a large majority of their own vegetables and herbs in a purpose built poly tunnel. The Ye Old Sun Inn also holds monthly cookery demonstrations to promote local producers and products. Customers can also choose from an array of products including fresh bread and home smoked chicken found at their deli shop.

This has to be the best food in the north of England. Beautifully prepared by people who know how to cook. We keep going back because we know we will not be disappointed.

The food is what makes the pub special. I'ts fab quality, fresh, beautifully presented and there's such a wonderful selection! Everything and everyone at The Sun makes you feel at home and very welcome.

I lived opposite the sun inn for a period of fourteen months, in which time i was lucky to sample various items off various menus.The food never faltered,allways fresh and very well presented.The chips are a must served in terracota plant pots,but they are no ordinary chip they come with there jackets and taste fantastic. For those of you who like myself like a good pint of beer to wash all this food down,you will not be dissopointed.They have a good selection of guest beers,including Taylors Landlord my favourite. Ye Old Sun Inn is a fantastic place to eat and drink,and i do miss having it as my local. Congratulations to Ashley and Kelly on all your hard work !

What a place to go and eat at, we'd had a rubbish day at the races but all our whoes were forgotten once we had been here. Graet atmosphere and wonderful food!!

A TRULY HOMELY DELI. SELLING ALL THE THINGS YOU WANT BUT REALLY DONT HAVE THE TIME TO MAKE. lIKE THE PUB ATTACHED , SECOND TO NON. TRY THEM BOTH.
