Delicious food; generous real coffee; often organic and fairtrade ingredients. Cheap!. A sunny sitooterie and wonderful exhibitions with work for sale. Possibly the only co-operative cafe in Scotland but please don't all come at once!

Its a lovely place with great, good value food and a cosy ambience. Every month the exhibition changes so there's always something new to look at.

The gallery holds monthly exhibitions for artists living in and around Edinburgh. It is an excellent opportunity to showcase new work. Visitors write comments in the guest book. The tasty home cooking is not the only subject of stimulating discussions! A nice day out for the whole family.

Such a beautiful place with a great sense of community spirit run as a completely non-profit cafe. All baking and soups are cooked by locals using organic produce and fair trade coffee. All food is vegetarian and the cafe has a garden you can eat your soup in during the summer. Really popular with walkers after long hikes in the local countryside who come in for hot soup and a toastie and to warm themselves by the fire. Surrounded by local artwork. A peaceful and interesting cafe.
