Stephen is my dad and not only is he the best dad but hes the best butcher! Everything he makes is made buy him self in the shop and they taste great! I think patrick (my brother) will turn in to a sausage he asks for them all the time. His bacon for butties and pork pies are great when theres a rumble in your tummy. Hes won loads of awards for all his produce and winning this award would be the next step and a great achievement. He dedicates so much time to the shop to come up with new ideas for sausages and hes even started doing a farmers market, so that every one has a chance to taste them. He really deserves to win so you should vote for him! see you on saturday for a bacon butty dad! Georgina xxx

We have used this Butchers since moving to the area several years ago. The quality of all the food bought here is excellent but especially the home made pork pies, bacon and sausages. My husband who works in London always gets a big order for himself and friends down South. The service is very friendly and always happy with lots of advice. We wish them all the best.

Berkins is a shining beacon of butchery, beating off the mediocracy of supermarket produce with glistening pies and a golden sausage. If Churchill was a butcher he would have worked at Berkins!

A wonderful man with always a chirpy smile - a credit to the butchers trade. Pies to die for and he delivers to OAP's who can't walk to the shop.

Always service with a smile no matter what day or time. Has been nominated cheeriest butcher in the past and he really is. Always tries to give you help and ideas on how to cook your meat and what would go great with it. review this place now
