The Stenton Family Butcher in the heart of lively Hammersmith brings Londoners a selection of rare breed meats from the best breeders around the country. Organic Welsh Black Beef, Aberdeen Angus, organic pork from Duroc Black Pigs, Gloucester Old Spot Pork, and Salt Marsh Lamb are but a few in the wide variety of meats on offer. The array of sausages and burgers are all freshly made by Stentons themselves, using only the finest ingredients. Also stocked is a range of poultry, including six different types of chicken, from free range to organic to corn fed, larger size geese and chickens, ideal for a family gathering, and Norfolk Black Turkeys for Christmas.

The Cagnoli Family We have been buying our meat at Stentons for the past 6 years. The quality is outstanding as is the service. A proper local butcher!!

We have been buying from John for over 10 years now and have never been disappointed with the excellent, helpful staff and the quality of the meat, sausages and poultry. Had a boned shoulder of lamb last weekend and it was the best i have ever tasted...Terry and Lyn

This shop has the best meat in London, hands down. The steaks are better than anything you'll find in the city's top resaurants, and like last summer, we're having a wonderful time bbq'ing their pork ribs, legs of lamb, and delicious corn fed chicken.

Fantastic service from a friendly, inviting, quality butchers. John, Lena & and their staff couldn't be more helpful. Their inventive sausages and coatings are a pleasure as is the juicy meat they carefully select! If any butcher deserves to win... they do!

John and Lena Stenton not only sell excellent produce but are a cornerstone of the local community, in the heart of Hammersmith. When I have cooked for friends and family, they all say they have never tasted such wonderful meat, and they will never use supermarket meat again. John is also able to offer lots of receipe advice and prepare special cuts like crown of lamb. I guarantee after one visit, you will become a Stenton convert.

Quite simply outstanding. All the meat is sourced from excellent suppliers from around the country. Selling the best chicken in town. Service which is always professional, courteous and enthusiastic. Butchery is a dying art, but prevalent at Stenton.

Wonderful traditional family butchers selling a wide range of high quality organic meats. The crew under the leadership of John Stenton are masters of their trade, knowledgeable about their product, and always ready with helpful advice. They have a real passion for their produce and a genuine interest in theoi customers. This how a local butchers ought to be - sadly there are too few left.
