the food is magic with a great choice - this must be the best chef around, the atmostphere is relaxed with friendly efficient staff, and the building is beautiful.

BEST restaurant in York by far. Helpful, friendly staff where nothing is too much trouble. Fresh, local food cooked and served with passion. Homemade chips to die for!

This place is yummy! I often go with my parents, it's a lovely place to sit and chat, with excellent food and wines, locally sourced where possible. It's great.

Serving full meals all day and evenings - ideal for that 'dead' time after work. Most food is locally sourced and they have speciality weeks eg. asparagas, for seasonal foods. Good range of organic wines and ral ales. Good range of tapas dishes and specials on board. Caters for family celebrations - value for money and good food cooked simply. review this place now
