Description
Fencebay sells a wide variety of fresh fish and shellfish, with an emphasis on its own and locally sourced produce. At the farm shop customers will find a selection of fresh fish including cod, haddock and monkfish. Fencebay also has a smokehouse where fish and meats are smoked in traditional brick building kilns. At the restaurant you can eat in an intimate atmosphere and enjoy fish brought straight from the sea to your table.

I caught them at Carluke Farmers Market today, and the service was excellent. The food was excellent. Overall, just plain excellent! Hope to see you again, soon!

It's such an interesting shop with lots of wonderful fish - fresh and smoked - to tempt you. The shellfish is particularly fabulous and it has just the suggestion of a smokey flavour. I guess because it is cooked in the same place. Freshly baked bread is also yummy and I do like a potter in the deli section. Friendly, helpful staff. She

I TOO AM A REGULAR AT THE FENCEBAY SEAFOOD MECCA IN MANSEFIELD PARK AND WOULD ADVISE ANYONE WHO IS PASSIONATE ABOUT FISH AND SEAFOOD TO PAY A VISIT. THE PRODUCE, SERVICE AND VARIETY CAN BE SUMMED UP IN ONE WORD - OUTSTANDING! IF YOU STILL HAVEN'T BEEN WHAT'S KEEPING YOU? PS THE SEAFOOD LASAGNE IS PURE INDULGENCE BUT I'M WORTH IT!

Bought great fish from them at the Farmers market in Glasgow. Also very friendly and gave me some recipes, using the fish to make baby food.

It is truly fantastic to have Fencebay on our door step! It is like having an old fashioned corner store in terms of customer service and flexibility, and the food is to die for! Not only do they sell there own wonderful fish (and you MUST try the bread) they also stock goods from locals who have stalls at the monthly farmers market held at Fencebay. The staff go out of their way to ensure you get what you want - and that can run to how to cook what you are buying if required! The local caught shellfish is of the highest quality. The fish pate is delicious. The bread is mmmmmmm... They also have a great wee cook and craft shop with a very personal service and goods of the highest standard. I would have no hesitation in recommending you stop here and enjoy a shopping extravaganza or a bite to eat :)

Fantastic company. Incredibly proffessional and helpful.... especially when showing me how to open Oysters!! Selected the best food available and had some good food recommendations. Robert's a great personable chap who helped to explain the ethos to FenceBay Fisheries. We'll definately be purchasing from them in the farmers market, Partick again.
