The shop has a very warm and friendly atmosphere and the meat is of outstanding quality would recommend any carnivore to go down and sample the meat. they will not be disappointed.

Love the lamb at Doves! the Pies are pretty damn good too, never short of meat.

I come from Norfolk, It is sadly becoming very rare to find good quality independants such as Dove's in London. The produce is naturally reared, without growth hormones or stimulants, and well hung. Dove & son puts supermarkets to shame.

Doves is definatley the best butchers in London with the finest quality meat and the staff are very helpful and welcoming especially Mr Dove.

Bob Dove and the team are by far the best thing about Northcote Road and they should be as they have been selling great produce for three generations. Truly top quality in everything that they do and say without the gimmicks

This is one of the shops that makes a neighbourhood - really good quality meat (the steak is superb) with great friendly chatter that makes me feel I live in a village rather than inner London

It's good to have a quality local butcher. One can buy in tiny quantities or place a large order. Everything is good and real - even the fact that they often run out on Saturdays!
