The people and the quality of the meat. Excellent service and advice. Excellent well hung meat. My family love their pork pies. I can't eat the pies because I have Coeliac disease - but they do stock gluten free sausages.

Great pork pies, Yorkshire dry-cured bacon, sausages, dripping, pork cracking to die for, fab roast meat sandwhiches! Not to mention the wide range of quality meat which is always sourced locally. There is a blackboard advising where all the meat has come from that week. Friendly and helpful staff. My only complaint is that I can't buy proper free range chicken from here, which is why I have marked it down in the quality "steaks" (pardon the pun)! Overall, a great butchers shop.

Superb Pork Pies and Cornish Pasties the best taste ever in Yorkshire.We travel from Leeds to buy their produce.

The best pork pies ever! Had one for my lunch this afternoon. They have a great selection of meats and all sold at great prices!!

The staff there are wonderful, they are so pleasant and always seem to have smiles on there faces.The food is always top quality and resonable prices especially the famous pork pies and the mouth watering hot meat sandwiches.

The quality of meat is exceptional and nothing is too much trouble such as writing meat names on bags and washing and drying my babies toys that have fallen on the floor.
