The first episode, 'Family Christmas' sees chefs Mark Sargeant and Tom Kerridge compete in the ultimate battle to create a Christmas classic, roast turkey will all the trimmings. For desert they both take on a trifle, adding their own signature twist.

The second instalment, 'Christmas Entertaining' sees Valentine Warner and Jo Pratt pitted against each other to make the perfect gammon, for the ultimate in festive hosting.

Each episode will showcase six different recipes - three from each chef - including a classic, simple, and ultimate version all based on a Christmas theme.

Every dish will then be judged by food enthusiasts who specialise in seasonal dining. Their job is to decide which of the meals is not just good, not just great, but perfect!
