Uyen Luu is a food writer, photographer and prop and food stylist.
Outside of her kitchen she is a food and prop stylist for print and television, working with Bill Granger, Thomasina Miers and Gregg Wallace among others. In front of the camera she has worked with both Raymond Blanc and Jamie Oliver, showing both the secrets of traditional Vietnamese dishes.
Photography and film making has long been a passion, since graduating with a Film & Video degree from Central Saint Martins. After graduation, she made an award winning film about food and her trip to Vietnam. She visits her family in Vietnam often to re-discover the country and culinary roots. She is currently working on various film projects.
Uyen's first cook book,My Vietnamese Kitchen, published by Ryland Peters & Small is released in October 2013 in UK & USA.
