Andrew Webb is on a one man mission to map Britain’s food landscape. Travelling around the country, Andrew is seeking out the stories and producers behind Britain’s best food.

Andrew’s online journey has taken him from cutting edge mushroom cultivators in Wales to getting stuck-in Scotch egg making in the Midlands. Along the way he’s dug with Cornwall’s potato farmers, drunk Guernsey milk still warm from the cow and discovered Staffordshire’s famous oat cake: a less pretentious cousin of the French crepe, crammed with melted cheese and at 69 pence, a staple snack of lucky locals.

Seeking out the secret food corners of Britain, Andrew has recorded recipes, videos and details of suppliers all available on the bigfoodmap site. Watch his videos on filleting fish, sausage making and meeting Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall en route.
