Adebola Adeshina

Adebola Adeshina is the owner-chef of The Lock Dining Bar in North London where he creates high-flying modern British food with global accents.

Born in Nigeria, Ade moved with his family to London as a child. Inspired by his mother's cooking, he always knew that he would be a chef.

After college, Ade got a job working with the Aubergine team under Gordon Ramsay. He remained with Ramsay for 6 years, cooking at the 3 Michelin starred Gordon Ramsay Restaurant and at Petrus under Marcus Wareing. Ade climbed the ranks working with Philip Howard at The Square, Eric Chavot at The Capital and Tom Ilic at Bonds. In Febraury 2006 he opened his own critically acclaimed restaurant with Fabrizio Russo, The Lock.
