Lotte Duncan

Lotte Duncan is recognised as a leading authority on English cooking, with a light, humorous approach to interpreting our culinary heritage. As well as developing all her own recipes, and writing about them, she is a well known face on British TV.

Lotte's love of cooking was apparent at an early age, when she went through to the finals of Junior Cook of the Year. She then left her Cordon Bleu school with distinctions - and worked in Switzerland, opened a diner in Los Angeles, and came back to Oxford, where she developed her easy-going, charming style for a successfully developing media career.

In the short space of six years, Lotte has chalked up an enviable collection of appearances, guesting and presenting on such shows as Ready Steady Cook and Battle of the Chefs.

Since 2001, Lotte has become a regular chef/presenter on Good Food Live where she always scores a hit with her wise and witty banter with Jeni Barnett. As well as live studio work, Lotte has filmed many great inserts for the show. In 2003, Lotte filmed three series in Guernsey, Exmoor and Ireland - where she realised a childhood dream by dunking her face in a bowl of warm melted chocolate!

When TV commitments allow, Lotte runs cookery demonstrations in some of the Home Counties' finest country houses. These have now been running for seven seasons and have regularly sold out. She is also writing a book about her favourite subject - English puddings.

Lotte Duncan lives in Buckinghamshire with her daughter, Daisy, and her famous cats.
